A very unpleasant experience with Leaders as a landlord, with the result that we were strung along and ended up with a void period of six weeks.

I have a bad experience with Leaders. It did happen on two occasions. I have tried to view a flat for letting and in both cases no one bothered to turn up. Nobody also bothered to let me know beforehand that viewing won't be possible.
When I called them they came up with some lie that the telephone no. appears incorrect, they didn't care to email me either.
So very bad customer service, lack of competence, not reliable simply customer service leaves a great deal to be desired.
    My advice is to ...

I was without a washing machine for 4 months as they were unwilling to deal with my request, they also said that I could not fix it myself as it had to go through a procedure. They started to avoid my calls. Bad management of contracts.

Some of you may be thinking that only people with bad experiences tend to leave a comment which skews the ratings. However, I would urge you to ask yourself why people's bad experiences were never resolved causing them to write a negative review. If you want bad ...

we rented a 3 bedrooms house with leaders in burgess hill(West Sussex), After signed te contract we realized our landlord is a big residential company and we have to deal from there with Worthing branch.
When we move in October 2008 shower wasn't working and hot water was at very high temperature, we start then to send letters to the Worthing branch regarding this issues, the only answer we have always was a woman telling us she was waiting for the landlord response, after months of daily phone ...

I had a very bad experience with Leaders in Aldershot. The company policy seems to be very uncompromising. They try to lead you into short term tennancies even if you insist on long term arrangements.

I rented a flat from Leaders for 6 months, when it came to the end of my tenancy they assured me that I would have my deposit back within 10 working days. By the end of this 2 week period I had received a letter saying that the independent inspection had taken place and that there was no damage etc so my deposit was to be refunded in full. However, my deposit did not appear in my bank account. Over a week later I contacted them again and they said that the landlord now wanted to claim £20 ...

Me and Two friends are desperatly looking to rent in aldershot, and after being nominated to find a place for veiwing, i finally found a place perfect for us, a 3 double bedroom victorian semi detached house. It had a big garden which is what we wanted, I found this on rightmove.co.uk and saw that Leaders were the Letting Agent backing the property, i promptly phoned up to be greeted by an answering machine, i was slightly gutted but left a message anyway saying that we were extremely intereste ...

I have rented with Leaders twice. The first rental was exemplary, everthing sorted quickly and apart from the high admin fees an excellent service.
So I chose to stay with them but to move to a more spacious property and thats when problems began. If you rent through Leaders ensure you get a property which is property managed by themselves. I am currently living in a property which the landlord does all the property management themselves - Baron Homes. This company is the worst company I have ev ...

It took Leaders Ltd www.leaders.co.uk 2 months to write my contract. They did not have keys to show the house when we were going to leave, and they were coming without confirmation that we were going to be at home. We told them that they needed the keys, but every day they kept calling us to see if we were going to be at home to show the house to someone. We had to wait for the deposit one month and they charged a lot for everything. They charge a fee after a year in the property and £70 ...
