    Good Points: Fast, good looks, nice clear screen, excellent spec, not too heavy, not too light.


    Bad Points: Shiny outside scratches easily. Slight issue with burner.


    General comments: The Samsung R60 Plus is a great laptop I can tell you after using it for nearly a year now. It's got a fast Core 2 Duo processor(s) so it can handle a lot, especially in conjunction with its 2048MB of RAM. The 160GB HD is plenty storage for me. I also enjoy the CD/DVD writer it comes with although I always have to leave a few minutes at the end spare otherwise the burner goes into 'crazy mode', the same goes for importing cd's etc. 72 minutes is the max on mine. The SD card slot is very handy and gets used all the time by me. I don't use it for gaming so can't comment on that. For video editing and multitasking it's great. The screen is very nice and not your normal TFT, but has some kind of glass cover over it. The all black design is stylish and the outside is shiny as seen on the many new samsung mobiles. However, this easily scratches on a product such as a laptop which is in and out of bags regularly so there isn't really much point to having it in my opinion. Overall this laptop is a good buy with fast and reliable system components and Vista premium to get you going.
