“Problem with big companies”

Go Outdoors is an example of a company who thinks it has made it (got a monopoly) and no longer needs to try. Staff are poor and rude, they continually advertise stock and deals that are simply not available. If possible I will never use them again, however you sometimes have to not bite your nose off to spite your face. #Bring back the friendly local companies… Read Full Review

I ordered two camp beds and was very pleased at the price £40 for two beds.. I paid £9.95 postage to ensure the camp beds were delivered in time for my camping holiday. The camp beds never arrived and I was most disappointed. Go Outdoirs have refunded me £40 for the cost of the camp beds, but I'm still £9.95 out of pocket as I haven't been repaid for failed delivery despite waiting in all day… Read Full Review

The order took 2 weeks to be processed. I called a few time to see where was the delay and they had no information. It seems that customer service have no tools to work with. “Broken tent poles after 3 nights and aggressive staff”

Currently going through Trading Standards as Go Outdoors will not help us. Tent is unusable after first trip and we have a pile of expensive equipment sat idle. “Bad delivery experience”

I had to recently return a pair of walking boots which I haven't been able to receive basically. The delivery service used is so terrible that I have to rate go outdoors as terrible because I haven't even seen the item I bought. The delivery times and dates are completely strict, the communication is appalling and the options for re-scheduling are null. I ordered a Hi-Gear double camping stove through the Click and Collect service. Due to being discontinued, it was a very reasonable price and only 1 in stock at the Stockport branch. I reserved the item and also a discount card. The morning after, I received an e-mail saying my items were ready and could collect from store in 1 hour. “Shoddy attitude to customer service”

Visited our local store at Blackburn. Staff don't understand their stock items, are unable to provide even a simple price within ten minutes and don't seem to care much. Bought a tent on line. What a carry on we had. Saw this item in store but there was no stock, really helpful sales assistant advised us to order online. “Do not buy if you want to stay dry”

I do not recommend this tent if you don't want to spend the entire time in a swimming pool. It didn't stand up to the wind and rain storms that we had. Rain poured through the enterance of the tent reaching ankle length. It also leaked in the sleeping area puddles appeared everywhere. Not a tent I would recommend to anyone. “Bad communication badly let down”

Ordered a tent, no delivery after one week so I chased the order only to be told " sorry it's out of stock so we have cancelled your order". No communication prior to that or to let me know they had canceled it. If it wasn't for me chasing I'd still be waiitng. Needed the tent quickly for camping so ended up buying elsewhere.
