    I have used gooutdoors quite a few times,most recently,i ordered a sprayway fleece online,which speedily arrived,on a saturday,by the monday,having been worn twice,the zip broke.I took it back to my nearest branch(Coatbridge),i spoke to a manager,who said he would exchange it as a goodwill gesture.Though he said it wasnt a fault,but the way i was opening+closing it.Anyway i exchanged it for a berghaus spectrum fleece,i had it 3 days,when the zip broke again!!.I promtly returned it instore,where i asked to see a manager(many thanks to Paul Davidson,General manager)for making me feel like a pre-school kid,as he insisted that the broken zip was not faulty,but it was the way i used it!!.It was exchanged,for the same jacket,i had it 2 days,+ used a couple of times,when guess what,the ZIP broke again.I took it back to the store+same manager,if anyone wants to be belittled+ embarrassed,then feel free to vsit your local Go outdoors store.I have complained,+ was reassured,that a regional manager would be in touch,that was on 2nd december,i am still waiting!!

    I tried to order six items for a walking trip, that were all 'in stock' according to the website. The day after the items should of arrived I recived a phonecall from a very young nervous sounding boy, explaining that 4 of 6 items were out of stock and they would not be in stock again ever! GO Outdoors service was really bad!!

    GO Outdoors advertised Campingaz Camping Chef Double Stove with Carry Bag when it didn't come with a carrying bag ask for another 10 pounds for carrying bag.

    Ordered the Idaho XL from Go Outdoors after seeing it in store, Web price was even cheaper and more than 100 pound less than anywhere else. Was a little reluctant to order after some of the reviews on here but ordered goods on Monday and they arrived Wednesday morning, glad I took the plunge now as the saving is fantastic. I havent unpcked the tent yet but im no expecting any problems as the tent and pole bags came in the original Outwell packaging.

    Go Outdoors has a misleading website with unavailable items at "come-on" prices.

    Current example Rab Gaiters at about half price but unavailable.

    Was slightly reluctant to order from them given the number of bad reviews, but really for me it was totally fine. I placed the order monday morning, on tuesday the status changed to "picking", which means they are finding it in the warehouse, then it changed to "payment taken", which means they have it in stock and are getting ready to send it.     Wrong quantity info on Go Outdoors website, I have ordered item that was in stock and then I got email that item was cancelled because its out of stock, happened twice

    Like a few people i was unsure about ordering online due to the few negative comments thrown around. Also i ordered in the summer and had somewhat of a bad experience myself.But I've found that go outdoors have improved their customer service. I purchased something from their '10 deals of Christmas' offer and unfortunately it was out of stock. But i was emailed and told this within good time.     3 orders from GO Outdoors, all wrong. Two orders were for their 'Specials'. Emails back to say unavailable, though clearly in stock when ordered online. I believe this quote says it all. 'Very rarely do we have issues with orders, and as we have done before with yourself we have apologised for inconvenience caused by us not having stock available.As regards to the online ordering, as the line I have quoted states we try to provide stock that is available, we cannot legislate for customers com ...

    I had checked reviews here prior to placing an on-line order and was slightly unsure of whether to proceed due to the number of negative reviews, however a pair of Scarpa Manta Tech 4's at £100 reduced from £165 was enough to lure me into taking the risk. The items were delivered by courier within 36 hours of the order being placed exactly as sold.     GO Outdoors are awesome - ordered a Berghaus jacket for my winter season in Scotland, which I read about on Berghaus' site they are now recommended by Berghaus so I thought give them a go and wa hey 3 days later my new shiny super cool jacket turns up, thought it would take longer than that!

    Overall, website looks good, products look great, read a few previous reviews and it seems they have taken on board previous comments. look good to me will definitely use again

    All goods purchased are extremely good value especially with the loyalty card. Mens and womens walking trousers, microfleeces, poles have all been excellent quality.

    I ordered two items from www.gooutdoors.co.uk. Both items were in stock and were delivered to my home address around a week later, however one of these items was damaged - (Easy Camp Avignon Kitchen Camping Table) which had a small dent on one of the shelves. Being a large company and boasting that they are the biggest UK outdoor stores I didn't think the returns procedure would be difficult. Well how wrong I was.     I experienced poor customer service - Took two weeks to respond to email. Support email address appears not to work, telephone staff seemed rude to me.High Charge for delivery considering minimum wait is 7 days!I don't think that the prices are even the cheapest on the web (try millets instead).Website has no stock checking system so I ordered goods only to be told they were out of stock 3 days later.

    Be warned! You wouldn't live for long if you behaved on an expedition the way this company does. They would say this is a symptom of their success. However they seem to be struggling, even when their website says substantial stocks are available. They took a week or more to let me know. And they took 3 weeks to reply to an e-mail. Similar happened with them 2 years ago, so clearly slow to learn. Customer care attitude at the top of this company seems so poor that it over-rides by miles any good ...

    Received call today to advise me that my order for 1 item cancelled, as stock no longer available. Meanwhile, my wife signed and received an order for me this morning. My address was correct, but the order was clearly not.
