The Jewellery Channel or TJC looks like a professional organisation selling quality jewellery but if anything goes wrong their Customer Services Department is dreadful. If you phone they can't answer the questions. If you email or write they fail to respond. All they say is return the jewellery and our quality control team will deal with it. But once you send the item back all you get is a refund but with no explanation. Even if you wanted the item repaired or replaced all you get is a refun ...

have purchased 3 items from TJC, and was dissappointed, but as they were relatively inexpensive, didnt bother to send back.. I was sent a voucher with my last order, and when I tried to use it towards a tanzanite ring I got cut off.i rang them back ,and they confirmed order had gone through and was told someone would ring me to take details of voucher. They never did. I had to phone them, and told order cancelled, and no rings left. No apologies offered, told to try personnal shopper, who said ...

I bought myself a Rhapsody platinum emerald and diamond ring from the website as it was a new launch and I had only seen it online, as soon as I bought it, it started to be shown on the tv channel and went £400 cheaper than I paid. I emailed customer services and they advised me the one on tv was a different carat weight. I hadnt noticed that so couldnt comment but it was on again and went £550 cheaper than I paid! It is the same ring, same carat exactly. I have emailed them but not ...

I left a review on the 14th July after I'd made my first purchase with the jewellery channel. What a huge mistake that has turned out to be. I purchased an Iliana 1 carat tanzanite ring for £350. I have taken it to over 20 independent jewellers. Most said it was poor quality and wouldn't value it and the few that would, the highest valuation for insurance purposes said it was only worth £400. Only 1 was willing to purchase it and that was for £250. A couple said they'd buy the ...

I am so disappointed that The Jewellery Channel is going down the pan. I used to really enjoy it and have it on my computer all the time. But my recent experiences have disillusioned me. Sending back faulty rings does not get your p&p back, which it should. I have complained several times but nobody is responsible (nobody cares)I have come to the conclusion that I will turn it off for good.

I ordered for the first time with the jewelry channel last week. Wished I hadn't after reading these reviews! Annoyed already though, the 'will be with you in 5 days' is rubbish. It's been 7 days and it hasn't even been dispatched yet. Will let you know if there's a problem with my ring. Intrigued though if the problems people have incurred with their items were for cheap or expensive pieces?

The Jewellery Channel - Oh what a bother. As soon as you complain, they stop communicating. I have just had to send them a recorded delivery letter as they will no answer the phone (waited over 6 mins) - have sent 3 emails - no reply. Have had to contact Consumer Direct for advice - the whole experience is AWFUL. Don't do it. I had bought a previous item and was pleased but any issues, you are on your own by the looks of things.

I have purchased several pieces of jewellery from The Jewellery Channel which I have been pleased with. Although the most recent was disappointing, when I viewed the diamonds under magnification two were badly flawed on the table of the stone. I was under the impression that every piece was inspected for faults - obviously not!

Thought the The Jewellery Channel Jewellery was presented well And looks really good Quality for the money, Until you buy it !! I have bought at least 20 Items for different members of my family for presents Every one seemed pleased with it until stones start falling out,
So actually the jewellery is quite expensive when you consider you can only wear it a few times before its had it , unless you want to pay for repairs,, Bought lots of rings from Gems TV good qualty wear every day . Mu ...

i have been buying products from The Jewellery Channel for quite a while, whilst in India which is renowned for its jewelry and from which I have purchased jewelry before and the value has been fantastic, i went to buy some earrings in March 2009 and they could not match the prices or quality of the jewelry i had bought form the jewelry Chanel, he also suggested after telling him how much i had payed for a ring that i was wearing that i go and get it valued as it was a fantastic deal, i have be ...

The Jewellery Channel gives reasonably speedy delivery. I ordered a pair of blue diamond earrings from The Jewellery Channel as a 21st birthday gift for my sons girlfriend. When they arrived they were very evidently mismatched as a pair, one being larger than the other. One stone was also darker than the other. I returned them immediately with a note asking if they could please prioritise inspecting them and returning a new pair as I needed to get them to Paris by 5th February. that was almost ...

Take care and decide if you really want the item from The Jewellery Channel and compare online. I did and was amazed. I have some great pieces especially 2005/2006. The current items are disappointing in size but as long as one realizes that everything you are viewing is heavily magnified a bargain can be obtained.
Customer Service is poor and the staff have little or no knowledge of the products. The most irritating part is the postage ie £6.00 for an item which may only cost £1 ...

The stone settings in two rings I have had have came loose. The quality of the settings are not to the same standard I would expect from a reputable jeweller. Customer service is appalling. If you have a problem it's really hard to get through to them and then they don't want to know. They ignore emails from the website completely. I also had a problem with deliveries not being within the time and sometimes not happening at all despite them having taken my money.
I would advise anyone to proceed ...

I bought jewellery from tjc when they first started broadcasting and was really pleased with the quality and value for money. Now that they are better known some of the items are not so good and certainly not, in my opinion, the value for money they used to be but you can still get good jewellery items as long as you chose carefully.

Their after sales service if you have a problem is not good, getting through is a trial in itself.

I recently bought some items of jewellery from TJC, some that were returned were because I was rushed into hospital for 10 days so the next available time I posted them off including some other things that were in time. They were only out of date by 6 days I have to point out. 10 days later I have receied the parcel back, stating that they are unwilling to refund as my parcel was too late. Despite ringing to explain my situation, the customer services were totally unsypathetic to my reason and w ...
