I have bought several items from TJC and most I have been happy with but I do think they should have a look at their quality of items. They seem to sell lots of under ten pound items and this has led to the channel looking a bit cheap. I also dont think their diamonds are anywhere the quality of GEMS TV and their P&P is quite high too. I hope they raise their levels of quality and am amazed their customer service has received awards! (read more)

I have ordered three times from the jewelry channel or thx as they also like to be known, and I have send two of my orders back due to them being very poor quality and damaged on arrival. The first order was for a gold and diamond necklace for my maid of honor. On arrival it was tiny compared to the showcase of it, and also the dimonds wernt cut diamonds, they were more like chips of stone. 36" necklaces are actually 32". low value so not worth returning. Ring sizes seem smaller than those found in shops. Have already sussed out that items are smaller and duller due to cameras and studio light so make your own judgement before ordering. Twice I have placed an order for something that seems too good to be true for the price and sure enough nothing turns up. Be warded that once they have your money they dont care about you. I was brought a AAA tansanite ring for christmas, at the end of January I noticed that one of the prongs was broken. After contacting the customer services and was told I could have a refund as I didnt want a refund I sent the ring back. It is now April and I have no Ring or Refund as they are now refusing to refund due to being outside of the 30 days money back guarantee. I am within my rights to a refund as the ring was... I have ordered many different items from this website. Some products are cheap and look great on their website and on the TV. However what I have learnt from buying from TJC is that; 1. The products will always be smaller than expected 2. The products will also be less shiny So if you do buy from TJC just be aware of the above issues, as it can be miss leading. Returns cost is also expensive, they should do free returns. So decide carefully before purchasing. (read more)

I have noticed the very same thing items are much are much smaller and if it comes complete with chain I have thicker strands of hair Just returned 3 items for this reason costing £6.50 +£9 p&P to receive them total £15>50 for nothing

Have bought a number of items of Jewellery from this channel for Christmas presents and myself. I have sent one item back today as it was damaged, but it is the first. I received an opal ring a couple of days ago, and it's amazing, love it. The price was unbelievably good. I also ordered two opal crosses, one in silver and one in gold plated silver, and they are both lovely, one for myself and one for a present. I ordered a set of 5 Murano glass stretch bracelets, I know they were cheap so was not expecting 1st quality, however, I was expecting them to arrive in one piece!! “Refunds”

Have been waiting 42 days for either a cheque or credit voucher after having to send goods back and having to pay Special Delivery postal charges. Have received the goods refund but no postal charge refund. Have spoken on the phone, online and by email. Have been promised cheques, credit vouchers, still nothing. Am now considering going to Trading Standards. (read more)

They promised me a refund of £6.35 and said it would arrive within 30 days and I was having none of it. I therefore emailed the complaint letter to one watchdog and to TJC itself. Guess what - the refund cheque is also underweight. It was made out to be £5.90 instead of £6.35, the latter amount they had promised to refund me! I haven't watched the channel ever since! Initially, some poor operative replied in email that another small cheque would be sent and changed the tune in a second email saying that the amount was too small to write a cheque for! I am going to email trading standard to make sure they specify the amount of metal weight and the size of the stones. Nobody should be trading the way they did to me.

I bought an Iliana emerald ring with two trillion cut diamonds flanking it. I was really excited at the prospect of getting them, thinking that Iliana was their top and the diamond would be sparkly and emerald lovely. The emerald was with inclusion but the diamonds were yellow and the inclusions was so bad that I returned it the following day. I have bought many items and on the whole, am pleased with them. My worry when ordering by phone is that I do not always get what I chose. On at least three occasions I have pressed the number offered on the phone and realised that the choice onscreen was different. Thus I ended up with two wrong sized rings and a wrong colour scarf. I'm a new customer with tjc and have to say that a couple of the pieces I've bought have been really lovely. However all of the diamond pieces I have bought have been absolutely terrible quality. The pendant was totally bent out of shape and the diamonds weren't set properly, half of them were skewiff. And the cluster ring looks likes, well, I can't even begin to describe it, it's like a cracker ring (except worse) and it looks like some diamonds are missing and the others have bad skewiff... I have been generally happy with the jewellery, however, I have had a couple of problems and they have taken a long time to resolve. I bought a Rhapsody pendant at a very good price £349.99 and I congratulated myself on spotting such a bargain. I had been looking forward to receiving it. When it arrived, it was housed in a transparent bag though in a posh box. The metal weight was supposed to be £4.9gram and it turned out to be about 2 - 3 gram including the stone which was very pretty but tiny. Love my Espirito Santa Aquamarine ring. Just beautiful. Have bought other rings, Smokey Quartz and Citrine all are equisite. The prices are below any high street jeweller. Excellent quality. They are very dishonest with the auction items. When you won something good at a low price. they will do 2 things. They either send you a lower quality one or refund you. They will send you a message that they received your item. In fact you never received it. When you call them and compalin, the staff was very rude (She said she could not give me any comment and said bye and hung up before I could say more). I have to agree about the rising auctions. 3 times it has happened to me. They said that when it came to dispatch the item is was not up to their quality standard, so could not send it out. Maybe once this may happen to one person but three times!

As expected, i've had various degree of success, and so i've kept some items and returned the others. For those items that i kept, i'm very happy with - some are presents for my family, some are for me. I recently purchased a white gold ruby ring. When the ring arrived it was not in a box - only in a pouch. The ring shank had a flaw on one side. I am really disappointed that items such as this with a reasonably high price should be sent out in flimsy packaging and also obviously not checked by quality control before it was dispatched to me. So I found another auction for the same ring - they give individual auction numbers as you'd expect - and I placed a bid. I also bid £11 on a pair of earrings that they state were £19.99 'normally'. However the last two items I've received have been of poor quality. The latest is a pair of diamond earrings with screw backs that made my piercing bleed they were so rough. I agree with person, I used to buy lots of things from the TJC but found the last few items were not worth the money. The last thing I had deliver was broken and it took over 2 weeks to get my money back. I will not shop with them again,

This is my experience too: my very first purchases were 2 watches and a 30 carat silver bracelet. One of the watch had so many scratches and the bracelet had a missing topaz which I later found it in the box. But the worst was their customer care centre' attitude: extremelly bad and they cannot be bothered. Then do not work there lady, I think!!!!!!!!!
