“Misleading advertising ”

Be very careful with this company they advertise their goods at a very reasonable price but if you go into the store the price is a LOT higher, which means you look on the website see what you want at a price you want to pay but when you make the journey into the centre of town you find its actually 30-40% higher so a waste of your time and energy not to mention fares or parking. “Faulty Suitcase ”

Bought a suitcase and used it once. The handle broke on coming back into the country. Took it back to Sports Direct and they said the handle breaking had nothing to do with a fault of the suitcase, it must have been picked up wrong at the airport. How else are you going to pick up a suitcase, other than by the handle ??? Wrote an official complaint and they concluded a handle breaking was the fault of the handler not the product. “No Staff WILLING to help”

Again shopped at this store, well really stood around waiting for at one member of staff to look a bit interested in serving. Looking for a jacket for my son not much on show more on line but needed it now. There was one guy putting jackets out but did not bother to ask if I needed any help. My experience with this store has edged on a nightmare. They will never except that you are legally entitled to a refund with a receipt and goods in the same order as they were when you bought them 24 hours beforehand. Faulty goods, your problem. Wrongly labelled size, your problem...oh and if your extremely shy child plucks up the courage and dares to suggest that a trainers sole is not flat (as it should be) than they are called liars. Bought a Gelert hydration bag replacement bladder from a local retailer. Sadly the retailer ceased trading before I used the bladder. On it's first use it leaked badly and was clearly unusable. All you can do is pray. I have ordered a few items from Sports Direct in the past without a problem but omg, if something doesn't go right you are well and truly stuffed. Worst customer services I have ever experienced. Rude, vague, unapologetic, unhelpful and completely disinterested. No wonder Sports Direct shares are dropping like a rock. “Crammed in with no room to move around!! ”

I think that these stores are disgracefully laid out. Today I have visited the Grimsby Victoria Retail Park store with 10 week old son in his buggy. I had to physically move 4 clothes rails at various points throughout the store so that I could move the pushchair around otherwise I would have been stuck. The "aisles" are so narrow that I shudder to think how someone in a wheelchair manages to manoeuvre around. Get it sorted now!!! “Don't use Click and Collect!”

Most retailers offer Click & Collect as a quick and free way for customers to obtain goods, usually providing 1-2 day delivery free of charge. Not so Sports Direct. You still have to pay a standard delivery charge, the delivery time is slower (5-7 days as opposed to 2-5 days, which is APPARENTLY in the terms and conditions) and you still have to POST anything you don't want back at your own cost. Having purchased an item as a gift and then trying to return the item I am told that only a credit note is provided. I checked with a member of staff before the purchase about size and what they told me was wrong. I got headquarters and was told that all stores operate the same policy, I have to try on the things before I buy etc. I explained this was a gift and was not given any response.
