“Faulty Goods Returns”

I returned some faulty golf shoes and socks. They wouldn't replace them. They said they were out of stock although they're still showing on their website. I presume that it is because the shoes have increased in price since I bought them. They replaced the part that was paid by a gift voucher with another one. They haven't refunded the balance, which was paid with a Credit Card that I no longer use. They completely ignore repeated emails about the balance due to me. I went to buy a pair of Adidas neo trainers size 10 , so the Sales Assistant went to get me the pair of trainers to try on , while sitting there waiting she comes back with 1 trainer and says i can try on the display trainer on as its size 10 , didnt mind so much as i just wanted to walk up and down to feel how comfortable they were , So i said yes i will buy them , she then puts the DISPLAY trainer in my box , i then question why she is putting a DISPLAY trainer in my box as i want brand new… Read Full Review

“Still waiting order”

Worst customer service ever! Would never use again. Order did not turn up after given a 9-9 time slot. Tracking number did not work. Emailed twice both ignored. Spoke to someone yesterday, finally got through after being in a queue of 16 people, the girl took all my details and said she would sort it out and call me back. No follow up call still!! I 've ordered a lot of sport a casual wear , however at the order list they indicate whatever size they wanted to. Finlly I received most items at smaller sizes 2 or 3 numbers. Now the shipping cost is same valuew as the items, meaning that I have to gift all the unfit items to childres of my friends. I've just spend 170 euros for gifts that I wouldnt meant to make. “Woeful Company”

Ordered a football T-shirt but Sports Direct sent the wrong size. Their fault but mistakes do happen. However there was no Customer Service phone number or email address to complain to. Instead I had to return the shirt and pay for delivery(£4) myself. They eventually replied that the shirt was now out of stock and that I would get a refund - only for the purchase and not the initial P&P cost (£5). “Do not buy online ”

“Unprofessional Company”

Ordered a coat for my son's birthday, which my son picked on sports direct online shop. The coat arrived and it was nothing like the one I ordered. My son chose packable puffer jacket and a parka coat arrived which was totally inappropriate for my son. 

I was very upset as it was a birthday present. Phoned head office spoke to a young lady explained the situation. She told to me to hold the line while she check. SHE THEN HUNG UP ON ME...Not happy phoned again.

Don't accept it, look st a website called Resolver, I joined them when I had a complaint about SD, they have templates and direct u who to send the complaint to. I followed this and got my son's trainers exchanged for the right pair which I ordered.

Asked where the items I required, was told on a stand upstairs asked assistant upstairs was told over there eventually found stand but couldn't see items I wanted asked another assistant to check who did not take the trouble to look just said if its not there we don't have it end of story and end of me going back. Courier service very poor. Twice told they couldn't find address and on second occasion had returned to supplier. Supplier then confirmed item had been returned to them. 14 days later on chasing refund I was advised item had been delivered and signed for. “Service is shockingly bad”

I ordered a pair of trainers which never turned up. My first 3 attempts to contact Sportsdirect.com were completely ignored so I had to make a claim through PayPal. PayPal said 'they've proved they sent it. You'll have to contact them directly to investigate the delivery service'. “Disappointing Table Tennis purchase”

We spent £280 on an Adidas table tennis table for our 13 year old daughter's birthday. The assembling instructions were impossible to follow. We had to employ a handyman to assemble and even he struggled. 4 hours later the table assembled the safety release cable didn't work and broke on the first attempt! We are now unable to open the table without two people manually releasing the catches, not ideal if you're a loan player. “Pathetic shop!”

I visited 2 different branches today, one in Bournemouth and one in Poole, but the experience was the same. All members of staff (when you can find them) have their walkie talkies turned up full blast, so when you do get to ask them something about their products you are constantly interupted by their cackling walkie-talkies. Bought some boots from the Meadowhall branch the other day and needed to return them which i tried to do on Tuesday at my local Nottingham branch in Chilwell. I was told that when it comes to returns Sports Direct's policy is that i could either exchange or have a credit note.
