    wish i had of read these reviews before buying,
    ordered 3 bikes and delivery was prompt, but 2 of the bikes were un-rideable due to bent forks, the parts shouldn't of even left the factory where they were produced, you could see by looking at them they were not right,
    anyway, rang customer services, ( turned out to be more like customer brutality) i have to pay for the bikes to be sent back to them, and that's going to cost upto 25 for each bike, i would never consider buying from them again nor would i buy from any of the stores around my area, they really do take the cake, its going to be cheaper for me to take them to my local cycle repair shop and get them repaired by him,
    i urge anyone thinking of buying from them to not bother and go elsewhere,

    Sports Direct sell mostly 'seconds' but will not tell you they are seconds. Many 'branded' items, are made by Sports Direct under license, and are their usual inferior quality. Look closely at the tags, you will see 'Made under license' (or similar) on many items.
    Worst thing has to be that they will not allow you to contact them by telephone?? What sort of a company refuses to speak to customers on the phone.

    Poor, poor service. Ordered some trainers and paid £5.95 for next day delivery. Got my order over 48 hours later. Emailed customer support to ask for a refund on special delivery service however no reply to 3 emails sent. Not even acknowledgment that they've even received it. Avoid at all costs.

    PURCHASE FROM SHOP - GOODS FAULTY BUT THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE HAD TO SEND TO THEM FOR A SECOND OPINION AND STILL WAITING A REPLY THREE WEEKS LATER

    I PLACED AN ORDER FOR A FOOTBALL SHIRT ON THERE WEBSITE. WHEN IT ARRIVED IT HAD NO SPONSOR LOGOS ON THE SHIRT AND IT WAS DIRTY. THE BIGGEST WIND UP IS THAT THERE ARE NO PHONE NUMBERS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICES.... T***S

    I made a purchase on sportsdirect.com and spent enough money to qualiy for free delivery but chose to purchase 24hr delivery as I wanted to guarentee arrival this week. My order did not arrive within 24hr much to my dissapointment :( so I emailed them twice, as like others on this page couldn't find a contact telephone number, no replies to emails :( a day later, still no reply or items, but then I managed to find the telephone number to their head office :)

    Ordered for my son due to a special price for an end of line offer with item shown as in stock. Almost 2 weeks and 3 unanswered emails to 'customer service' - what a joke title - still no news re despatch, delay etc and son getting more upset all the time. Eventually cancelled by email and finally had an email back confirming cancellation. These people are the worst kind of online business and their complete disregard for customers and unwillingness to be contacted should put them out of busines ...

    Please only use this company as your last resort.Bought a pair of football trainers with 24hr delivery not only did they turn up a day late they were the wrong ones!Oh and to top it off they sent me a free sports direct mug sayin 24hr delivery on it!Still no reply to my emails 2 days ago.

    Great value for money so order a few items, but only recieved half the order and still waiting. Cannot find a phone number for customer service whom only reply to about 1/3 of my e mails, even when they do reply they do not answer any direct questions. Will not use them again
    But DHL where great.

    I placed my order for a hockey stick and glove about a month ago, but I still have not received my order. They emailed me with a link to DHL tracking which showed that my order had been delivered and signed for, which is not true. I have tried emailing their customer service 5 times but with no reply. When I email DHL they said they have no further information and told me to contact sportsdirect. Could anyone please give me some advise on what I can do now?     Terrible customer service. Bought Vango tent which was faulty. Had to email returns twice to get a reply in which they asked for a date to collect the item - despite sending 3 emails in reponse we never got a reply (the last being >10 days from the date of the first) so had to ring. Customers services were a. unhelpful and b. unapologetic...we are still waiting for our refund 2 weeks after returning the tent. Will never use Sports Direct again.

    I brought a silverfox black , which broke the first night i brought it , the customer service was terrible , they didnt want to talk to us or listen and said it wasnt there resposibility , with that person being the Sports Direct manager!

    Placed order on the weekend then read these reviews and expected the worst! How wrong I was. Item was delivered on Tuesday afternoon - 36 hours after ordering online, and I specified only standard delivery. DHL were excellent. They phoned me twice at work from outside my house to arrange leaving the parcel somewhere safe so I didn't have to sort a diffferent delivery date. Item was superbly packaged and in perfect condition. Can't fault this kind of service. Can't comment on customer service or ...

    I ordered a Slazenger Pro cricket bat online only to be told about a week later by email that the product was not in stock. I ordered another cricket bat instead and about a week later received a package. This time a bat had been sent, but it was a cheaper version of the one I had ordered, and mysteriously all the identifying labels that would indicate that the bat was the incorrect model were removed.     just pray that nothing goes wrong with your Sports Direct order!!!

    i sent item to exchange for bigger size:

    1. i have been waiting for weeks for the item to arrive and still nothing yet.
    2. they dont reply to any of my emails.
    3. they make you spend a fortune on telephone because they never attend your calls, althought the voice on the other side of the line says "your call is important to us...you are number one on the queue."

    Ordered a pair of trainers from Sports Direct on 20th August, received an email to say that my order had been despatched 2 weeks later i am still waiting on my trainers being delivered. I emailed Customer Services as i could not find a phone number on website to chase up my order.     No phone number to contact them when our parcel didn't arrive. They use DHL to deliver who are the worst company I have ever dealt with. They will not guarantee delivery, they have lied about attempted delivery and are so rude and arrogant.

    I would never use a company again that use DHL nor Sports Direct because how can you deal with a company that has no phone number.
