I purchased a pair of trainers a on the 5th May 2015 and only managed to wear them twice indoors. I started to notice the paint/colour on the trainers was rubbing off so I asked for a exchange. “poor after sales service”

My son's Football boots (Nike tiempo) came apart after less than four months of use. When I contacted Sportsdirect with photos of the shoes, the dissapointing reply came very slowly. Because the shoes had not been polished it was my fault the plastic sole had come apart from the leather upper. Nike give a two year warrentee for the shoes purchased from Nike.com. watched an expose' of sports directs working practices on channel 4 on 27/4/2015 titled " the secrets of sports direct. " recommended viewing. they buy up older brands like Dunlop,slazenger, Lonsdale etc and then source the goods from the far east affixing the appropriate labels to them. “Affogant staff, bad policies on returns.”

Bought a pair of trainers last August, wear them once, sometimes twice a week and the sole is coming off. Went to store where they refuse to exchange saying it was normal wear and tear. When goods were returned because they were too small I was informed that the company 'does not do refunds' and I would have to have a credit note. When I queried this I was told I should have asked about the returns policy when I made my purchase and the details were on the back of my receipt. So..... Once you've made your purchase, you can see on the back of your receipt that you cannot get a refund!!! Makes sense doesn't it? I will never buy from this shop again. I have been buying at sports direct in Peterborough for many years and spent probably thousands of pounds with them. I recently bought some walking boots. The laces aore through after 3 wears so I changed them. They wore out again after another 3 wears. On checking further all of the metal eyelets have sharp parts that lacerate the laces. Sports direct hides away from complaints, they don't have any numbers for contacting branches,and the ones they do have are premium numbers making even more money from customers.try contacting head office, you won't get a chance, also if a product is faulty you have to pay for the postage then if they decide it is faulty they will refund the postage, another complaint is their branches are ove stock, fire escapes seems to be blocked with stock, next time you visit these stores have a look when… Read Full Review
