Good Points: Good Friendly ServiceBranch Based AccountGreat Interest Rate - which is fixed for the term.Investment is available afrom just £1
Bad Points: 5 year investment tie-in periodable to only withdraw 50% of capital investment
General comments: I have just opened a 5 YEAR ESCALATOR CASH ISA with the Leeds Building Society. I have always found a branch in any major city I have been to ( I commute between East and West Midlands on a daily basis).With the account itself - it is a tiered interest going up by 0.25% every year of investment starting at 5.55% in year one to 6.50% in year 5. These are fixed rate - meaning where other products may go down your interest rate on this ISA is fixed for the 5 year period - great in this current adverse credit climate.Investment is available a from just £1 - and is all tax free.As someone who works in the Financial sector (I work for another leading Financial provider) - I really would recommend this product to anyone!
