Good Points: Good Customer service as long as you get through to the UK call centre. Pay as you go tariffs have a good range of offers for rewards and what not based on the top ups you do. Haven't used Pay monthly but i hear it needs some attention as is not brilliant but pay as you go is recommended for all you teens and text maniacs out there.
Bad Points: The Offshore customer service call centres. Long hold times . Pay as you go Wap hardly ever works(including the pay as you go text tariffs access to myspace and facebook/bebo) Pay as you go tariffs need more variation and mix and match IE: Text and call reward tariffs like o2.
General comments: Could be a great company if it addresses the small issues which are holding it back from its main competitors.

Having been with Orange for 7 years on contract, I find a download on my bill for £5 marked 'Game'. I ring to enquire what this is as I dont play games on my phone and certainly wouldn't download one. Equally, I could find no trace of it on my handset.
Unbelievably, Orange could not tell me what the charge was for other than 'Game'. I persisted in telling the rep that it was an erroneous charge and what were they going to do about it, but they couldn't be bothered. So, I've taken my busi ...

Appalling Customer Service, kept getting transferred to foreign centre, where they cannot understand me, and couldn't understand them. Had a fault on our Landline through Orange Home Phone, Broadband orange kept telling us we had a fault & Home phone said we didn't, and we clearly did. Called several times, to report problem, they had no record of calls or fault, only when we treated to cancel did they finally agree that we had a fault on our telephone line, after being put on hold for over 10 ...

My contract had expired and I wanted to upgrade my handset, thus committing to a new fixed term contract just as a new customer would. I was told I would be charged £119.99 for the handset I wanted on exactly the same talk plan as a new customer can have it for free. I spend about £40 to £50 a month with them due to using my phone abroad regularly which is more than the base line cost of the talk plan in question, yet still the choice was "pay £119.99 or we can't help ...

Well, its with regret that I rang Orange to get my termination notice served. This is the second time that I have felt that I need to leave - but this time I am going to carried out the action.
I have been with Orange for nearly 4 years. I joined in 2004 because my partner was with them, and I needed a new contract. I brought my son to them and they have had loads out of me - so much so, I was a 'Premier Customer', whatever THAT means!! So, after NEVER MISSING A PAYMENT for nearly 3 years, I ...

I have been with orange for nearly 18 months and have to say I like this company. Can easily get hold of someone to talk to. The call centres seem to be english and people engage with you personally. there is an automated system that looks at your usage and recomends a different tarriff.
Main bad point is signal coverage between town or city is bad. Built up areas are good.

The 'retention package' I received in early July was disconnected yesterday because the agent who set it up wrongly thought they could obtain my Direct Debit details from Orange mobile to bill me for Orange Broadband. The answer from Orange was not to contact me asking for payment details but to levy a fine on the account in absentium and then cut me off arbitrarily without warning. How they managed to set up an account without payment details in the first place is beyond me, how they kept it ru ...

I couldn't wait to get out of this contract. Every time I tried to call them (which was quite a lot as I've had quite a lot of problems with them) I spent about half an hour on hold! It was near on impossible to actually get to speak to someone. Not many good points to this contract either.

Have had a pay as you go mobile with orange and for some time now it has been unable to call orange's number. This has left me unable to check how much credit it has. Very poor.

Flat, any network, any time rate. Orange Wednesdays: 2 cinema tickets for the price of 1. Reserve Tank: if you run out of credit you can borrow up to £2.50. Magic Numbers: pick 3 orange numbers and call them any time for just 30p for up to an hour. Different pay as you go plans to suit your needs

The coverage is so bad just about where ever i have seen and Orange just didnt care.
I just wish all the other operators would give internet on the handset like orange did for free with some of their tariffs.

Orange are the only reliable service provider I deal with. If I could get everything from them I would. Yes you pay a little more but coverage is excellent.. and i've always found their customer service to be very helpful and polite.. some people do seem to have more problems with them than I ever have...

I wish I had kept a written record of all of the telephone dealings I have had with orange - as the people at the call centre seem totally unable to do this! Had a very simple problem that became a really complicated problem after about 3 people said they would do something and then didn't or managed to do part of it, didn't write any notes about the call - I even joked with one operator about the lack of notes on my account - he said he would get it sorted, keep a good record of what had happen ...

I seem to have never ending problems with orange. Firstly, I had a phone that would top up and then the credit would disappear. My next phone couldn't be topped up because the service NEVER worked. And then my current phone took A WEEK to activate and every time I want to top up I have to ring orange and change my security code because it never accepts it even though I always change it to the same thing!
The phones are cheap, but it really is worth spending more money to go with a different ser ...

For starters although orange do not produce the phones i have only ever had problems with the phones they have provided. However, when the phones are damaged oranges customer service is disgraceful I have found.
They also add new charges to your phone bill for items such as orange Wednesdays, which keeps increasing in price.
Their reception is also the worst i have ever experienced and has caused me serious problems when important phone calls have just been cut off during the call. Overall oran ...

Complained many times about no signal to Orange, told many things about extra transmitters going up, then tried to cancel under section 4.4 of the T&c so was given a number to phone, it was not in service.
Emailed and never got a reply, tried to lower contract but the lowest price plan they do is a tenner a month more than one advertised on their site.

I have 2 mobiles, Broadband and 1 data card with Orange. For the last 6 years. I have watched Orange destroy itself from the inside out from a customer point of view. Each year at my contract renewal I have resigned on the premise that Oranges customer service can only get better?!!This year I have seen Orange treat my family and I, and so many business colleagues with such contempt that I can no longer bring myself to use or recommend Orange to anyone.I am moving my accounts to Vodafone! Yes it ...

Have been with orange since January 08. Coverage in East Sussex really bad transmitters seem to go down on a regular basis. They have three transmitters in Brighton one has been down since Febuary and another since 10th June almost a month. Having to use an o2 pay as you go mobile to make calls.Other areas the signal strength erratic can be talking on full strength then phone cuts the call of with no signal. Orange have said the phone is ok so must be network. What ever you do do not sign upto an ...
