“Incompetent and Unhelpful Service”

Despite being categorically assured that my Orange network mobile phone would work OK in Ibiza last week, I had no connection there, just the irritating 'No Service' message. I took my phone into the Orange store in San Antonio, but they were not interested whatsoever in trying to get me connected. “AWFUL WRONGED ”

I came to the end of my contract with orange so I didn't renew and I got my final bill £21.98p. Not only do orange charge a small fortune for basic coverage they also have the worst customer services! I rang yesterday at 12.00 to request my pac code so I could change over to 3. Once I had finally got through I was put back on hold and passed to another colleague after another daunting wait. “Bad promises”

I am on a sim only plan and I knew I was charged for calls to Orange voicemail, so I decided to set up a pin number from my landline to access voicemail. Guess what? I was getting charged also on the mobile for calls I made from my home phone number. When I realised that, I called Orange customer services as it's not fair to be charged for calls not made from mobile, and I was promised a refund plus free voicemail service. I tried to leave my Orange Home Broadband after two and a half years of loyal custom. What a nightmare! I am convinced what they do if it is not illegal is at the very least inmoral. Orange had me hanging for 45 minutes to start with. Then they were not having it. My son is on the dolphin plan,for £10 per month he should receive 1gb data and 168 mins per month (seems great) until they take all his data off him the next day saying he had used it all when we have WiFi in the house and he hadn't been anywhere along with £15 of credit wiped from him! I am unable to sign up to an online account as it either states im registered or the incorrect telephone number. I have called customer services 4 times and each time I am told it will now work. Partner and i constantly overcharged eventhough we compained and was told this was never happen again. Hidden charges for things like ringtags which have never been used and other subscriptions which never agreed to. Then say u have to pay it as there information not wrong. “Utterly hopeless call centre system, poor customer...”

I've been with Orange over 10 years and I'm utterly fed up with poor staff levels and multi-departments in the call centre. Ever since I've been with Orange they've thought we all have 30 mins or more free to make a simple enquiry. Min 10 mins to get a call answered most of the time, regularly mis-understood or poorly-advised transfers, the tranfers cut you off, etc. They have to be the worst example of over-the-phone customer service that I've experienced.
