I was on contract with orange and paid £30 a month for 600 minutes and unlimited texts after a few months I got a ridiculous bill of £500 saying I'd used 2500 minutes in a month (I hate talking on the phone so this is impossible) Anyway I rang the network and asked for a bill to be sent out and after several months no bill was sent so I chased it up and asked again for a bill to this day I haven't been sent a bill yet they've raised the bill to £1,127 I am furious!! They can whistle for their...

I have been with Orange for almost 6 years now, but to them I may as well have been there for 6 days. Their support staff lie on the phone about tariffs available to you, and complaints really don't give a s**t. They are one of the most expensive operators out there, and when I first went with them they were brilliant, but now, they are a shambles. They don't even care when you threaten to leave, it's just like 'yeah, so?' STAY AWAY...

“Shocking Shocking and Even More Shocking”

Visit www.orange.co.uk

I entered into a contract with Orange for my son. The agreed monthly bill was £20.00. My son had his phone stolen in London in March. I assumed that as there was only 2 months remaining on the contract that I would continue to pay £20.00 for the remaining two months as I could not cancel the contract and I would then start another contract for him. I was not aware that if his phone was lost or stolen that I had to report it. Naive I realise now after being landed with a £900+ bill this month....

Apalling customer service. Took newly purchased phone back to shop to get two minor problems sorted. Told they couldn't fix them as they were features of phone. Wrong. Argued in vain. Took phone to Carphone warehouse techies who sorted it in 30 seconds. Returned to Orange store to voice displeasure, told staff were not techically trained and didn't know how to solve problems because there were so many mobile phones on market. I was told to Google problems to sort them! Complained to Orange CEO Olaf...

Visit www.orange.co.uk

I arranged to have Orange mobile broadband via a dongle for the 2 weeks it would take to set up home broadband. That proved to be a costly error – I have been charged a total of 40 pounds for this. Ringing up to complain was a frustrating experience as you keep getting passed from one operator to another and have to explain everything each time. Trying to cancel the direct debit was also a test of endurance involving at least 6 different departments. The installation of the home broadband also...

Orange provide no signal in the St Pancras area between around 6pm - 7:30pm and have not done so for the last few months. Calling customer service to remonstrate with them about this inconvenient aspect of their "service" you find that at no point does their automated options list customer service, cancellations, problems with signal etc but instead runs you through a long list of irrelevant rubbish. Selecting sales results in a fairly speedy response then further delay as you are routed to the...

I gave my teenage daughter an orange contract and the bills were sky high. I wish I had known they charge what they like if you go over the minutes. Is there no regulation for mobile companies? I then found I was locked out of the account, so I phoned repeatedly, and was told they would send a text message of the new account number. No text came. I foolishly renewed the contract before I discovered how sky high the latest bills were. I wish I had done the sensible thing with a pay as you go. One...

Orange has been messing around with my account, big time. Taking double my money for a bill, cutting off my outgoing calls and text messages due to 'non-payment' after failing to set up a direct debit they told me they had, promised to deduct money from my next bill as compensation and then deducted less than the promised amount, terrible customer service, 'changing' the terms of my account and offering me incentives not to tell Ofcom about my circumstances. I agree about Orange the service is appalling. We closed our account with them, their awful customer service being just one reason, and opened an account with o2. Orange continued to take a direct debit payment every month, when we discovered this naturally we stopped the direct debit and phoned them to put it right and ask them to return the money they had been taking. It's been a nightmare trying to get through, being passed from one department to another, one cheeky operator we spoke to said the account had not been closed and when we asked for her name she refused to give it! The long and short of it is they don't want to give back the money they owe us and we have a battle on our hands to get it back, but get it we will. We would not recommend Orange to anyone either. Once you open an account with them you are on your own they couldn't care less about problems you are having with their network or the phone they provide. I am surprised they have any customers at all, we have friends who stopped using Orange as well for similar reasons.

Absolutely fed up with Orange. I will never believe another word their sales team say and their customer service is awful. If you have a faulty phone you have to make an insurance claim to sort then you get sent a faulty reconditioned handset then ignore you and try to fob you off with another one and wonder why you want to speak to a manager (which they refuse and tell you 24 hours which never happens). They obviously don't care about their customers and don't get me started on increasing the contract...

I've been with Orange for the past three years. When I decided to move elswhere at the end of the first 18 months they offered me a very good deal including not only the usual phone upgrade but also unlimited data and extra texts and minutes bundled in. I therefore decided to stay with them - Big mistake, huge!. I've just received a bill for nearly three times my normal monthly bill. Something very similar happened to me - my contract 'changed' and suddenly it was okay to charge me over £100 for a 7 minute call to a mobile phone!!!

When I disputed the cost (I only found out by routinely checking my bank account), they couldn't give me a straight answer, offered me £30 off my next bill as compensation and incentive not to inform regulatory bodies of the situation.

Then they cancelled my plan, cancelled my direct debit, failed to set up a new one and then cut me off for not paying the £100 they promised to revoke without attempting to contact me once to let me know they'd cancelled my service and failed to set up a direct debit for future bills!

I am literally gobsmacked at this appalling con artistry. In a million years, I would never go back with them - they have taken my money and my daily form of communication.

Have been with Orange for over 2 years now with my iPhones and have just ordered an iPad through them. The contracts are not expensive and I thought this would be due to bad signal at times (which I did used to experience), but now you can also connect to TMobile when Orange signal is weak that problem has gone. I have never had an issue with the customer services, and the few times I have had problems with my iPhones (mainly with the leads damaging) they have always been quick to send replacements....

I too had problems left, right and centre. They never update my balances and this is done to mis-lead me into believing i ave more minutes than I actually have. they then, can charge me about twice as much as what my contract should be.
My Contract when i took it out was meant to be (late 2010) £27.50 a month and it is now £35.00 (2012).
Also, if you make a payment late for any reason, even though they know you always pay. they will bar your out going calls and texts for at least 2working days! that could mean up to four days for you and me due to weekends!). What are we paying for on Orange? If you have a contract, then your meant to be able to use the service at all times.

This is a company that has now resorted to telling lies to excuse the state they are in. Anyone who has seen the 'Facejacker' Indian call-centre sketch and experienced Orange customer services will find the parallel uncanny! Did Facejacker base the 'internets services' character on his experience of Orange?! It would seem so, these characters simply repeat one load of nonsense after another. “PHONED FOR MORE INTERNET AND GOT FOR FREE!”

Visit www.orange.co.uk

I've heard plenty of complaints regarding Orange and to be fair having an iPhone 4S on pay monthly costs a bomb, £41pm, but I'm a sucker for technology! So I phone Orange to see if there was any way I could get more internet and less minutes (as there's no need for me to have 600 mins a month!). So I started with free texts, 600 mins and 1GB of internet per month. I phoned to see if I could have more internet but less minutes... unfortunately the friendly chap on the phone told me I couldn't change...

“Service response time - none existent”

Visit www.orange.co.uk

I have had no signal for my Orange Blackberry for over 3 days now and have tried to find out if there is a local problem. I emailed Orange and got an automatic reply to say that they will respond to my problem in 7 days!! Is anyone out there experiencing similar problems?...

“Orange has not satisfied me, and are VERY slow...”

Visit www.orange.co.uk

may i just say, They charge you prices that are not worth it. It should be 5p a lifetime. Maybe not even that. Signal is rubbish, customer service, mmmmm..., value for money, not really decided. Do i recommend? Not really. The internet ONLY works plugged in (LAN). If its not plugged in, it doesnt even show up! And if it does, its 2 bars WHEN IM RIGHT NEXT TO IT!!! If orange fixed this for me, i wouldn't be posting this review. ...

Visit www.orange.co.uk

Beware of the following Customer Advisors on Orange. From the Upgrade Department: Rob (Operating Customer Sales Advisor) - Liar. Nicola (Operating Customer Sales Advisor) - EXTREMELY RUDE, liar. She also likes to hang the phone up. From The Mobile phone queries department: Gillian (Operating Customer Service Advisor) - very rude. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THE MONTH GOES TO NICOLA! Please feel free to add to this wall of shame....

“Avoid orange and be happy”

Visit www.orange.co.uk

Hi, I made the mistake of buying my iphone4 from orange. I had had the phone for over a year on pay as you go. Problem came when I wanted to use another sim and network. I asked for the unlock code on the 6th Jan and it is now Feb 24th and still no unlock. Orange customer serivces act as a barrier to sorting anything out. Reminds me of when I had orange broadband at work for 3 years ans then one days bang, the acount was deleted and they had no record of me. I signed up with another broadband provider...

“very very rude customer service”

Visit www.orange.co.uk

Unbelievably horrendous 'service'. Story: My cousin bought me my phone more than 6 years ago, the account was under her name. 4 years ago, we changed it to me when I started working and paying for it myself. November 2011, called for my PAC code, was told that the account is still under my cousin's name, and she has to call for it. Jan 2012, Cousin finally managed to get through to customer service and was told 3 times that she can not get the PAC code because the account has been transferred to...

“Terrible customer service!!!!!”

Visit www.orange.co.uk

I have made a terrible mistake!!!!! I have extended a contract with this operator against my better judgement and am already suffering. Two reasons that I originally decided to leave 1) hiked up the price 2) I was unfortunate enough to be out of work and they wouldn't budge on a price plan change even though I am never anywhere near my monthly usage. However, upon cancellation I was sweet talked into staying. OK so I get my new handset delivered. I take time off work as we all know the courier companies...
