Darlene L'Archeveque, A World Of Good is a very gripping read - one of those books that I read straight through without stopping. The conversational tone made it seem like an old friend was telling me about her, rather harrowing, childhood. While the story itself is pretty dark, there isn't a sense of hopelessness which I'd expect in a book like this, rather it was full of hope and really gave a sense of someone who does their best to cope with misery without giving into the darkness. I highly recommend it to everyone!

This little girl went through it all...poverty, physical abuse, sexual abuse, a mentally ill mother, a broken family, and she came out...better for it. A truly inspiring story!!!!!
