Stunning 3" WVGA screen.
Excellent Keyboard
Not that bulky for a phone with a full QWERTY keyboard
Excellent build quality
Good camera
Long lasting 1450mh battery
If you love windows mobile or need it's features the Xperia X1 is hands down the best phone available. However it's high price tag and the fact that it does run windows might put off some.

This PDA has everything but it just does'nt seem to gel. From the dreadful keyboard to the motorola styled bendy screen.I have windows 6.1 on my Omnia which is fast and reliable but on the X1 it's sluggish and stalls, in fact the whole thing shut down on me twice! the Apps for the phone are appalling(windows apps fine) camera dreadful for a PDA of this price. Music OK. I use windows office alot and send many Emails but i would'nt be doing on this piece of kit i only got 9 hours of moderate use out of it before i needed to recharge, i know PDA's are heavy on battery life but 9 hours is shocking. Another turkey fron Sony and i used to be such a fan

I disagree with this review because this phone has amazing battery life and a stellar camera.

Sony ericsson is known for putting good cameras into all their phones and this being no exception. Look at many sample shots posted online using this phone. The accurate color balance makes it in my opinion better than my N95 8gb. Megapixels aren't everything.

In addtion it holds a MASSIVE battery a Li-Po 1500 mAh to be exact which totally outclasses any other smartphone. Touch Pro has 1200Mah and iPhone 3g has 850Mah.

While I do agree with the fact that it does bog down or need to be restarted almost all windows mobile devices do. This phone is faster than the Omnia with a Qualcomm MSM7200 528MHz processor. Any slowdowns occur only because the Xperia has the added benefit of having the "panels" interface on top of windows mobile which can be easily shut off.
