The Philips Whirlpool AWM has been a fantastic machine, however it eats coins and the filter rubber tube connected to the drum is awful to dismantle to clear the tube exiting from the drum,it's now not draining and all other filters have been cleanes so the only thing left is the other end of the pipe which is inaccessable (read more)

The machine has been reliable for the first year, as the door seals have got worn the pipes and filter are prone to getting blocked by small items.

At least once a month I am taking the machine apart. (read more)

Bought a philips whirlpool AWMxx (can't remember the rest) along with an AWZxx (same again) dryer.

First of all the waching machine started shaking like it was about to take off. Engineer came out and found that a suspension arm wasn't attached.
Then I found out it didn't wash at all on 95 degress. Engineer came out again.
Next thing was it started leaking and stopping mid cycle.

Finally Comet came and changed it for another one.
Now, 12 months later and just out of guarantee, it stops... (read more)
