CLAIROL NICE'N EASY PERFECT10 8RB MEDIUM REDDISH BLONDE Having been a blonde for most of my life and got a little bored (early 40s). I fancied a touch of fire, colour...a glow!! tried a variety of things from a dull honey blonde to daring auburny colours which were just a bit too loud "look at me" ish!?..Im not that confident!!..so having bleached over and desperately washed out colours that were too strong or just not quite right..I found this:medium reddish blonde its- blondeish, bright... After using the long winded Nice and Easy colourants for years, I saw that Perfect 10 only took 10 minutes - anything to shorten the waiting time. I have used it about 6 times and have been pleased with the result - good colour and my hair feels really soft. I coloured my hair last week and was pleased with the result but now I am noticing the gray appearing, this has not happened before but maybe this was a bad batch. (read more)

i found this product very difficult to use, the special comb adaptor was not help at all. I also experienced a lot of pain that i have never experienced with any other hair dye. The colour wasn't bad however it did leave a few orange tinged areas and the condition of my hair is awful. I would rather spend an extra 10 minutes with hair dye on than save 10 whilst having a sore and patchy coloured head. (read more)

I always used Clarol NicenEasy, with good results, (blonde) I tried this the other day and my hair went grey with blue/purple tones. (no 9) Absolutley terrible. I have tried to correct it with my normal colour but still the nasty "blue rinse look" persists. I don't know what to do with it now. I have just put a toner on to try and get a better colour. Not very successfully. The condition is not great - I feel like I need to put a slightly darker shade on it. Does anyone know what... (read more)

I tried Perfect 10 in Dark Blonde three days ago. Found the comb attachment difficult to use as the mixture didn't come out easily or evenly so used the nozzle which was fine for applying to the roots & hairline, then used my hands to work the rest through my hair. By the time I had finished the colour had been on the hairline & parting line for 15 minutes. When I had rinsed my hair it was left feeling like wire wool and the colour seal did nothing to improve this. None of my grey regrowth... (read more)

I got this Perfect 10 on sale - ergo, worth the risk. and voila! my grey is covered, the product washed out v. well and don't understand the bad rub the product has gotten in this forum. My colour? #9 light blonde -- I followed directions because I'm a coward and didn't go beyond 12 minutes. Now, unless it washes out in 2 weeks (as another claimed), I would do it again for sure -- on sale, of course. :) Heck, I've been colouring my hair since my 20's (just for fun) - so I know what's... I was surprised at the reviews. I have used Perfect 10 four times now and love it.. Before I used Nice and Easy so wasn't too different except for how fast it was and liked the color a little better. I bought shade 4R Dark Auburn, and I would say I have light brown/mousey brown hair, which is between shoulder and chin length. Firstly, the ease of application was second to none - the comb attatchment was really easy to use for a first time home-dyer like me, and gave me a lot of coverage over the head very easily. The waiting time was short, and the dye washed out completely from my hair within about 4 minutes. On the downside however, the smell was incredibly over-powering - I had to... (read more)

My hair is naturally dark brown and shiny. It is also waist length. I colour it various shades of chocolate brown. I always choose two shades lighter than what I want the final colour to look like because my hair absorbs dye like a sponge. I chose a golden brown shade. My hair at the time was a medium brown (coloured 4 months previously). Bought two packs as I have a lot of hair. After the 10 minute application I was left with nearly black hair, darker than my natural shade, which is a... (read more)

It was fast and I like the colour, however, I also have that yucky greasy after feel! Right on my crown especially. I don't have greasy hair, ever, but whenever I use the conditioner it makes it slick for a few washings until it washes out.. I am going to throw away the rest of the tube. I think it must be some kind of silicone or something to make it shiny, problem is, it overshines, leaving it feeling yucky and coated.

CLAIROL NICE'N'EASY PERFET 10
Bought this a couple of months ago and then decided to use it in place of my usual Nice'N'Easy. I am 66, was a natural light blonde, so have sort of a mixture of light to dark blonde with a lot of white at the front.
The colour did what it said it would in, 10 minutes, ie. it coloured all of my hair to the blonde shade on the packet, so...... I thought that it was great.

It has left my hair shiny and soft and has coloured my hair in the right shade. I used 5G Medium Golden Brown, my natural hair is a bit darker.
But it's not very good with greys, I have tried this product several times and I always thought it was just me not applying it properly. Today I insisted well on my greys but at the most they look like highlights.

Very disappointed after reading so many amazing reviews about this product. I used 9A after reading how natural it looked. I have natural ash blonde hair which is pale and has a grey tint to it. Thought I'd rate this product from a male perspective. 30 years old, dark brown hair with about 20% gray throughout. Have performed two strand tests using Medium Brown colour and it has done nothing to touch the grays!! It altered the hue of the highlights (which was all I was expecting) and my natural colour absorbed the dye. I performed the strand tests to the letter. First time for 10mins, the second time for 15mins. In summary: I'm sure its a good product for altering your natural... (read more)

Application was very easy and once dried the colour came out very nicely, consistently across all hair.

I would definitely recommend this product as a cheap alternative to salon colouring.
I have been applying it every six weeks or so for the past eight months, and during this time my hair has maintained it's condition, with the dye having no detrimental effect whatsoever.

I previously used Recital Preference Lightest Ash Blonde on my hair but it left it with very gold roots and white ends so I wanted a colour which would even out the tone and add a little bit of warmth. I bought NicenEasy perfect 10 in lightest blonde on offer in Asda for £5 and applied it as instructed. I am really pleased with the results and in such a short timescale too. Natural hair: Waist length; no dye; no perm or straightening; no styling products; dark blonde with some grey (less than 5%).
Result: Zero coverage of greys, even after the maximum 15 minute timing. The rest of my hair is an unpleasant reddish-mouse brown; a flat dull shade with no tones or highlights. This product has ruined my natural hair colour, and I will have to have its results corrected professionally.

Just finshed using Clairol Perfect 10 by Nice N' Easy, well I dived right in, didn't do the strand or the sensitivity test.
