“Works for me”

My experience with Computershare was fine, however I must state that I did not try to do anything through their website. Early in 2012 I set up accounts and bought shares of Coca-Cola and Exxonmobil through the mail. For the rest of 2012 and the first part of this year I periodically bought more shares of both companies. It would take about two weeks after I mailed a check to get the confirmation that shares had been purchased, which was fine with me, I wasn't trying to market time any purchases. Never had any problems. Also, the same time that I purchased the above-mentioned shares, I also bought some shares of Procter & Gamble through their direct-purchase program. This was through a shareholder service program in Cincinnati. Maybe run by the company, since their headquarters are in Cincinnati. Anyway, early in July I called the toll-free number listed for redemptions of Coca-Cola and Exxonmobil stock. The person who helped me was very helpful, and even pointed out that if I waited a week to redeem shares of one of the companies (can't remember now which one), the dividend would be in my account and when I closed out the account all money would be paid out, wouldn't be left with a few dollars sitting in the account after the redemption. Anyway, I closed out one account early in July and the other one about a week later, and got a check for both with no problems. I also got a letter from Computershare dated 16 July informing me that Computershare had taken over the administration of the P&G direct stock program, and gave me the new Computershare account number. I decided to go ahead and also close out this account, and again encountered no problems whatsoever. Basically, I had no problems with initial or ongoing purchases, and all redemptions were handled without any problems. And the few times that I talked to someone on the phone, they seemed to know what they were talking about, and it was easy to talk with them. When I'm ready to buy stocks again, I'll use Computershare.

There is a clearly marked path for selling on the Computershare website if you log-in (!!) then slect your portfolio, then click on the "sell" option it will guide you through the steps needed and give you the latest price. Have you tried?
