A friend of mine had told me abotu Diamond Parking and said that he had good service so when the wife and I decied to go to Verona for the week - we thought we'd give them a go. When I got through I foudn out that Diamond Parking had been bought by Help-Me-Park the biggest approved meet and greet parking company at Gatwick. WOW! I have to say I will never use an airport car park again! They guys were waiting for us when we got there right outside the North Terminal at Gatwick. They were easy to spot as they have very distinctive uniforms and they were all very friendly. The handover was quick and easy and they made sure I understood what to do on my return and gave me a card with all the details. Had a great week in Verona, arrived back at 20 past 8 in the evening on a Sunday. We called the number on the card while we were waiting in the baggage reclaim (as instructed) and the phone was picked up immediately and once we gave the chap our reference he knew exactly who we were and even told us what our car was! Thats organisation for you. So as we walked through to the pick up area we immediately saw our car with the chap net to it. Loaded our bags, signed the docket and we were away. Diamond Parking / Help-me-park are BRILLIANT! What a time saver and what a money saver! Much cheaper than going in the airport car park! I have already told 2 of my colleagues who travel regularly from Gatwick!! Try them - you won't regret it!

“Fantastic service very friendly staff”

We have just got back from a cruise in the Med and used Diamond Meet & Greet at Gatwick for our flight to Barcelona to board our ship. We had no problems at all and were very impressed with the service, we rang them 20 mins before we arrived at Gatwick and they were there about 5 mins after our arrival to pick up the car, we did a walk round the car to note any damage and i also took a quick video on my mobile for my own satisfaction. The chap who picked my car up explained the procedures for when we returned and away he drove. On our return the car was waiting for us after a quick call when we picked up our baggage, i had a walk around the car and it was damage free,I signed the paperwork and away we went on our way home. I cannot fault the service and would use this company again although they have received quite a few negative reviews, I may have just been lucky or the company have really got there act together.

“DO NOT USE!”

I cancelled this service due to never receiving a booking confirmation from them. Even though I cancelled within the given timeframes I never had my money refunded. I had numerous email conversations with them in which I was promised my money but it was never forth coming. I have now reported them to my bank and to Trading Standards. After emailing them again today the email address doen't seem to work!

“DAMAGED CAR - Do not use”

Appalling service, no record of our booking and then dented the car. Agreed to fix it but 3 months later still have not paid up and therefore the work can't be done. They never return emails or phone calls, have now sent over 20 emails and called a couple of times a week for the past 11 weeks to no avail. The manager of the company pops in a few hours a week and does nothing. Will be seeking legal advice. Never use this company

On Our return phoned as requested soon as plane landed and again when collected bags(although I called before we got our bags to save delays) told car would be there as soon as poss.30 mins later called again and was told car was on its way due to police at terminal (pack of LIES) after another 15mins car turns up with the same driver that had dropped of a car 20 mins earlier then ran off out of the car park once he had delivered it to obviously get ours. have used these before but never again as I complain to the driver about the delay he couldn't be bothered so now getting angry said I would write this review as his reply "yeah whatever do what you like " and walked off. absolute disgrace NOT a way to run a business. still fuming today.

2.5 hours late to return my car to me. I had all the excuses under the sun from 'You are not listed for a return today' 'We have no record of you' 'We have you down as a no show' 'Are you sure you dropped you car off with us?' 'What did the driver look like?' 'We can't find your car' when they finally admitted to having my car they promised to have it returned to me in 45 minutes because there were 2 people ahead of me in the queue (wonder how long they were waiting!) didn't show up for another hour. First called at 2:30 for a booked return of 3, they finally got my car to me at 5:30. THEY ARE NOT APPROVED GATWICK PARKING OPERATORS. The parking attendants for Gatwick airport (non biased as do not work for any parking company) told me some terrible stories other passengers had encountered from this company. Despite all of the above I am yet to receive an apology from Diamond Parking.

“45 MINUTES LATE & CAR DAMAGED”

Have used them 3 times this year and last year, Last year they were 30 minutes late in collecting car, 3rd tinme this year they were 45 minutes late, i kept calling they kept telling lies on their whereabouts. We ended up being the last ones ot check in which resulted in us missing breakfast and running to the boarding gate AND HAVING TO SIT SEPRATLY for the flight, i was fuming. On our return I told them we had already collected our luggage even though we were still waiting and they still managed to be 20 minutes late, the car also had a ding on the back wheel arch. The guy offered for his company to repair but would not trust them with a wheelbarrow let alone a £80,000 car. I USE TO RECOMMEND THEM BUT AFTER BEING A REPEAT CUSTOMER AND THE SERVICE GOING DOWN HILL I WOULDNT NOW.

“Damaged Car ”

We left our car in the care of Diamond Parking in May 2013. When the car was delivered back late, it was noticeably filthy and we noticed a scratch on the bonnet. Upon further inspection we found that there were more scratches down both sides of the car. We are not sure of the location where they park the cars although we did hear their driver refer to it as a "yard" several times. It is only reasonable to expect that the car was returned to us in the condition which we handed it over to them and it is completely unacceptable that scratches were found. We wrote to complain including pictures of the car on the day we collected it and a scanned copy of their receipt which their driver signed acknowledging the scratches. We also spoke to someone else on the day who instructed us to email them and he would arrange for someone to come and repair the damaged areas. 3 months later and we are still waiting for him to respond.....I would not recommend this company! On a further note, when I rang Diamond Parking today to speak with him and confirm which email to use, the driver who I spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional. He would not give me his name, but you should ensure that those responsible for answering the phones understand what customer service is and at least attempt to use it. All in all I have to say that I am completed unsatisfied with the service thus far and expect to hear from you in the very near future to rectify this and repair all damage caused to the car.

“Do Not Use”

This was our first experience of meet and greet and was a disaster. We had to wait to be met at the airport, wait again on return and I had paid £12 to have the car washed but it wasn't done and I am still trying to get a refund from them one month later. Avoid.

“Cheap for a reason!!!”

I could write an essay on their poor performance, poor communication, no record of our booking, and hour late collecting our car, rude, no vehicle checking procedure, lying, the list really does go on. But I looked on I line and booked them because they were about £20 cheaper than anyone else, but I guess you get what you pay for. You can only speak as you find and my advise would be to pay the extra and have peace of mind. Dreadful Company, Dreadful Service, Dreadful employees. Customer Satisfaction Score of Zero from me. Note to self; check reviews on line before booking next time and stop being a cheapskate...

We booked and paid on line and then we got there and they took our and when we got back they demanded that we paid them we waited ages for the manager to arive and he didnt show up!! We were left £ 50 poor because they refused to see to it then and wanted us to go to their website to prove it.... If they told us that we didnt pay before we went on the plain we might of worked something out!!!!! The manager was very rude and the bloke picking up our car damaged my keys by dropping them on the floor and kicking them to pick them up!!!!!!!!

“Late Collection and Delivery of car”

Outbound: I decided to use Gatwick Diamond Meet and Greet service because I was travelling with my wife and my 76 year old mother, I arrived at North Terminal Gatwick within 5 minutes of the booked time and after calling Diamond 20 minutes prior as required when booking, they collected my car about 20 minutes later, after I arrived at the airport. I can understand they are busy and traffic can be an issue at this busy airport, so I gave them benefit of the doubt. Return: I called Diamond on landing (00:10 hours) and again when I collected my baggage (00:31 hours), as stated on the receipt voucher given to me, I was told that my car would be outside the terminal within 15 to 20 minutes, it took me 15 minutes to get outside, it was a cold evening and my mother is elderly. We waited over a hour for the car to turn up, as I have already stated I understand traffic delays etc. My complaints is this: if you can’t make 15-20 minutes then don’t stay you can, because your customer plans on those timings, consequently my elderly mother was standing outside freezing when she could have waited in the warm. Communication is the key, they could have rang me back and told me they would be delayed. No apology, I will never use this company again

Simply dreadful service Totally Non Smoking Vehicle. On return from holiday; Cigarette Ash found around driver's seat and A Burnt Wooden Matchstick in driver's footwell. Both wing mirrors damaged. Shows utter carelessness, disrepect and disregard for another's property The issue has been brought to the attention Diamond Parking by phone and email but no reply has been received. There are no contact details for any person in authority with whom an official complaint could be lodged.

Clearly my complaint is not with any transient jobsworth management team that may be in place at any one time. I want to address my complaint to the Company Chief Executive.


Therefore in response to your comment and in accordance with the legal rules governing such issues I require you forthwith to provide me with the full contact details of the Company in question and name and postal address of the Chief Executive of Diamond Parking so that I can fllow up my complaint.

I'm sure you realise that failure or refusal to provide this legitimately required information may leave you open to prosection.

In the meantime I will be contacting the relevant Trading Standards Department.

Couldn't have asked for a smoother hand over and pick up. We were early to the airport and was told we wouldn't be able to be met until the pickup time stated which was fine, a few minutes later they phoned back and advised they would meet us in 5 minutes. Car was ready and waiting for us on arrival in perfect condition. Would definitely use again :)

“Diamond Parking, more like Incompetent parking! DO NOT...”

Called Diamond Parking to confirm we had landed, informed them we had no luggage so would be out very soon. Not only did they keep us waiting in the cold for almost 2 hours without contacting us, we had to call them 5 -6 times for an update. To our horror, they inform us (after lying to us at one point saying the car is on its way) that they 'CAN'T FIND OUR CAR KEY'!!!!! How in the world can a company that is supposedly meant to provide a service in which customers entrust them with their cars be unable to locate a key? Instead of being apologetic – we were spoken and treated very rudely by the staff. Not offering any help what so ever, asking us about the spare key and no empathy to the inconvenience they were causing us by their unprofessional behaviour. When we finally receive our car, it was clear from the mileage clock that it had been driven over 30miles – so not sure where they actually claim to ‘park’ it. Still awaiting a call back from their manager, no formal apology or acknowledgment of their poor service given. Never EVER use this company, DISGUSTED by their service!

“Could be Improved!”

We phoned 20 minutes before our arrival at Gatwick as instructed yet waited 25 minutes for the car to be collected. I rung again as instructed when we landed 23:30 as we were told the car may take a while to locate and bring round. I called again at baggage reclaim and was told the car would be round. 30 minutes later in the freezing cold after calling again the car finally appeared. Not really the service we paid for! Wouldnt use again.

“Rubbish service!”

We used Diamond at Christmas and had no problem getting the car back, however, the driver had managed to leave dogs mess all over the interior foot well, rugs and pedals. I fired off an email to them and they finally offered a free express valet, we just used them again in April and the car was returned to us filthy. Don't like being lied to. Rubbish customer service. Despite us generously tipping both drivers who attended us, we were not satisfied and will be using a mofre reliable firm for our future travel arrangements.

“Absolute Nightmare”

Booked on line payment went through ok but no confirmation of booking received, chased and chased and finally received e mail confirmation however advised north terminal departure arriving back at the south terminal , decided then to cancel and re book via secured parking, still three weeks chasing a refund, e mails never acknowledged, numerous telephone calls none of which are ever returned, my advice avoid at all costs

“Steer clear of Diamonds! ”

I arrived at the Airport and had to wait 40minutes for the driver to take my car, my daughter was ill and i had to repeatedly call the service telling them i was waiting. every time i called it when straight into voicemail. when they finally picked up their reply was rude and disrespectful. my family had to go into the airport without me and start making their way through, while i waited for my car to be picked up. He arrived with no ID, but by this time i was desperate as i had a flight to catch. I could have given my car to anybody!

I am very sorry to hear of your experience with Diamond Parking Services.

Diamond is under the new management of Help-me-Park which will now perform all parking operations for Diamond clients.

Unfortunately we cannot accept any responsibility for previous poor service or claims for damages.

All future bookings will receive the highest levels of customer care and service. “Going the extra mile.”

Recently I had made my way to Gatwick Airport and due to traffic on the M25 I was running extremely late. I phoned ahead to Diamond Parking to tell them of my late arrival and had expected to wait even longer on arrival. The supervisor had informed me that he had managed to get a driver on standby. On arrival I noticed my fuel light was on and left £20.00 in the middle compartment for the driver to refuel for me. I grabbed my bags and ran for the terminal and once airborne realized I failed to inform the driver of refueling with the money I had left. On my return my vehicle was waiting for me and due to the lateness of the evening just wanted to get home.Even though the petrol light was off I stopped for a refuel and found the £20.00 still in the middle compartment. They had gone the extra mile and ensured that there was enough fuel to return my vehicle. I phoned them up and told them that I had posted the money to them and thanked them. Clearly this was a company that cared and will always have my custom. Thank you chaps.
