    Totally useless, spent 18 months trying to get the communal TV system to give an acceptable digital picture. I am still waiting for the lighting to be improved outside my front door, I am still waiting for the volume to be adjusted on the door intercom and to cap it all I have lost all TV since no 38 moved out. It appears that the communal TV system is powered from number 38. Solitaire do not know how to contact a key holder. What happens if there is a water or gas leak. So this is my second weekend with no TV.

    Please sign the No.10 Downing Street Petition calling for the regulation of the unscrupulous uncontrolled property management industry.

    Property management companies should be held accountable for poor service, shoddy workmanship and overcharging and this could be our chance!

    I would like to add to all the comments on here as how I fully feel ripped off my Solitaire, I received a two page letter telling me how they were going to be difference since they had been taken over by Peverel Property but there has been absolutely no difference, I am still waiting for a reply to an email I sent over four months ago when I was advised they would now reply within 10 days. They said they would be more inspections but again to date they have not visited the property. The only ...

    I;ve had to deal with solitaire property for far too long and something needs to be done. The company have never been any good at dealing with customer queries as they ignore them all basically whilst consistently ripping people off with variable charges and random admins fee's.

    They need get their act together seriously as a number of reports are being made all over the media and are attracting the wrong type of attention due to their over charging and general poor service overall.

    Having read all the recent comments about Solitaire Property Management. I can only agree 100%with all that has been posted I have found eveything thay have done as totally unsatisfactory and if I had my way would get rid of them !!! They overcharge on their billing, customer service is non existent,and are arrogant when you finally do get to speak to someone.

    I have been a tenant of Solitaire Property Management for around 15 years and I have absolutely nothing positive to say about them. Their management/maintenance standards are low and their charges are high.

    Solitaire property management have to be one of the worst property management compnaies I've ever had to deal with. When will they learn that bad customer service is not the way to deal with landlords !

    Solitaire seem to excel at being bad. They are unresponsive, uncaring, and far too expensive. They do not seem to know the first thing about managing property. They do not seem to have any idea about doing simple research to get the best deal for their customers in terms of servicing costs (painting and decorating, gardening, cleaning, buildings insurance, etc, etc). They award contracts, but then do not inspect or supervise the work. They are very good at sending out incomplete accounts so it ...

    They have sent me invoices out with 17.5 % vat on the managment costs and not the 15% as they should be.
    They have sent a reminder invoice 10 days after the original yet I am still waiting for a reply to my email 14 days now!
    They told me they have a 10 day answer policy to both snail mail or email. So its now 14 day email and if you sent them a letter that could be 20 days plus - who knows?

    They seem to have a lack of customer service, even when formal complaints have been made via ARMA. The ludicrously high charges that just continue to increase at a rate of knots (bearing no relation to inflation) each year. They seem very quick to take legal action for non-payment of fees yet can ' t respond to requests and complaints.

    The comments raised relate to a development in Swindon, everything seems to be done at distance. The knowledge of the property appears to be limited and the costs seem far higher than we have been quoted by local professionals.
    My experience can be summarised as, Solitaire are, in my eyes:
    a. Very poor pro-active customer engagement (it takes more than a glossy brochure).
    b. Unclear explanations of the breakdown of charges before getting a bill.

    My biggest issue with Solitaire Property Management is their failure to properly manage and maintain the development in which I live. They never seem to visit the place, which is probably why we have weeds growing out of the guttering; doors missing from the bin stores; 'no parking' signs missing for years and lead flashing peeling from the walls.     I have been a customer of Solitaire Property Management Company for fifteen years. In my opinion Solitaire Property Management Company have poor management, bad maintenance, poor communications.

    Solitaire has shown neither service nor management for what we pay them for. Work is done to a poor standard, if not done at all.
    They charge an immense amount of money for this and are incredibly rude on the telephone.
    Laws should be put in place to protect tenants and leaseholders from companies such as this.

    The customer service is quite bad and they seem to charge the highest ground rent in the area currently £130 per month in a block of 9.
    Total waste of time and generally do not care as long as they are getting paid.
    Work they promised would be carried out has not been the area is starting to look shabby. I am currently trying to organise the maintenace myself and invoice Solitaire back.

    I feel that they are, and have been Lazy, forgetful, complacent and getting more and more (incredibly) expensive. Suppliers used to come from far away and charge large amounts for very little. Work in the past has allegedly been twice as expensive than when the residents themselves have sought a supplier.

    I received very very poor communication from Solitaire Property Management, they do not carry out repairs, the cost for the gardening and cleaning was extortionate for the service provided and worst of all they do not issue bills on time and when they do they are so far out it is insulting -last year some flats were overcharged by £600 . accounts up to Mar 07 have still not be accurately calculated and it takes them months to send out bills that are due 1 April and Oct.
