He ripped off thousands of customers as well as their staff, and rightly so they are out of business. Unfortunately Graham Lambie the owner still has his fingers in rooms2go in edinburgh and estate agents and flooring company in Ayr. Shocking how the world lets this happen ! I hope Karma catches up with him soon !!

Still waiting now 20 weeks since order date. Phoned Artisan furniture 7 weeks ago and told order would be delivered within 2 weeks. When no delivery I phoned again and told order was in customs and was told delivery would be 2 to 3 weeks. Now no response from phone or email.

Orderd from artisan furniture 7th June and told 6/12 weeks - now coming up to 12 weeks Aberdeen, no dining table or chairs and shop has closed and their customer number is still being 'relocated' after two weeks of 'relocating messages'. No other contact other than Aberdeen shop asking me 24 hours before they closed to collect six chairs but no dining table which I politely refused. I just hope we get it eventually although the other comments depress me. In hindsight, delivery of up to 12 weeks ...

Oh dear, I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered several thousand pounds worth of furniture from Artisan Furniture. I tried to call today as the 12 week period is almost up and got the automated recording telling me the phone system was to be changed (completed last week supposedly)
I failed to read the small print so the 26 week delivery thing is news to me, I am now worried that xmas dinner will be eaten off my knee instead of the dinning room table I ordered. I am a first time house ...

I have had similar problems with lack of delivery, lack of communication etc with the Edinburgh store and even as of last Thursday the staff there were saying they would try & get delivery sorted. However today (Tuesday) I contacted consumer direct and they have informed me that Artisan furniture have stopped trading. I am sharing this so that those of you who, like me, have outstanding orders can start looking at their options.

Like many of the other comments I too have been waiting many weeks (22) for delivery from Artisan furniture. After umpteen phone calls and a letter I finally got a reply from them about 4 weeks ago assuring me that the goods were now in the country and as soon as they had been released by Customs they would be in touch to arrange delivery. Since then absolutely nothing and, with their phoneline out and them not responding to e-mails I fear the worst.
I would strongly advise anyone thinking of ...

We paid a sizeable deposit on a dining suite at the end of March in their Aberdeen store and were told delivery would be 12 weeks max. It is now 20 weeks and in spite of numerous e-mails and unanswered and unreturned phone calls we have had no response from Artisan Furniture. We were advised by the Aberdeen store on Tuesday this week that our order was ready for despatch from the East Kilbride store. Since then I have e-mailed and phoned the Managing Director, on his direct business e-mail addre ...

We placed an order with Artisan in Uddingston for table and chairs at the start of April. At the time we were advised of roughly 12 weeks for delivery. A couple of weeks ago we managed to speak to someone in their customer service team who advised it would be another couple of weeks and that they would phone us as soon as they have them in stock. That time passed and for the last two weeks we have not been able to get through to their call centre. Now when you try to phone their customer ser ...

Has anyone managed to get hold of the customer service line, they have been saying they are re-locating for quite a while now??? We are starting to get a bit worried about whether we will ever get our furniture.

Have also called all the stores numbers i can find on the internet and not one of them is answering.

Very unimpressed and not sure what to do as have paid £300 deposit and hope will be able to claim back. Can someone let me know where they found out about the 6 months to claim t ...

Not only has the delivery been very late, there has been no contact and to cap it all I cannot contact Artisan furniture by phone as even their 10p per minute service isn't working and the Edinburgh shop can't contact their head office other than by email. Used them before and was pleased but items were in stock. I would be wary of paying for anything in advance.

Must agree with many of the comments regarding Artisan. My experience of the Glasgow store is very similar to those experienced in Edinburgh. Like many people, I was told 8 to 12 weeks for delivery however, i have been waiting for 20 weeks for delivery. Have phoned customer services on several occassions only to be told that delivery will be within two weeks on each occassion. Feel that they are fobbing me off. To have to wait up to 6 months for delivery before you can claim your deposit back is ...

I ordered goods 12 weeks ago, have heard nothing from Artisan furniture and cant get in touch by phone or e-mail. spent 1 hr 37 mins on the phone yesterday and still no answer, quick enough to take 30% deposit shocking customer service. Will be going to store tomorrow to cancel order, what a waste of time. Very disapointed customer. ZERO STAR SHOULD BE AN OPTION.

they said they'd deliver within 12 weeks. It's now 16 weeks and I've heard nothing from them. I don't know why I went into Artisan Furniture, feel like a fool now.

I can only agree with the earlier reviewer that felt he was being totally ignored by Artisan furniture, Edinburgh. I too was assured when I placed the order that I would get my goods within 8 -12 weeks.
14 weeks into it the company can't say when they will be delivered and have merely pointed out their "up to 26 week delivery period" in the fine print. The also seemed to me to be very happy to point out that if you cancelled at this stage you would not only lose your deposit but be legally lia ...

Horrible experience at artisan. Bought a dining table with chairs and also a bedroom suite. The table came with a deep scratch down the middle which they eventually decided they could not afford to repair and the bedroom suite could not be used. The nails could not fit into the flatpack (yes flatpack) wardrobe slots. I had to get a handy man to re-drill the holes. The chest of drawers had a nail sticking out ready to prick any unwary fingers and looked like it was made of wooden crates. Hopefull ...

I purchased a dining table and 6 leather chairs, and Artisan furniture did inform me that it may take up to 12 weeks delivery but in fact came in four. The delivery men had to assemble the table for me as it was so heavy i would never have managed and they were very fast and professional. I was kept informed of all aspects of the transaction. I love my dining suite and will certainly go back when I require something else.

My husband and I bought our dining set and master bedroom suite from Artisan in Glasgow and we have been very displeased with both their after sales services as well as the product quality itself. Our dining set was delivered to us with deep scratches on both the table (it was a solid oak pine table top with leather chairs) as well as one of the chairs. We've called up to complain and they subsequently sent a furniture medic to repair the chair and some of the scratches (but not all). We called ...
