    We really love going to this restaurant. It has recently changed its name from Fruit De Mer to Assaggio Ristorante. Still the same owners,Chef,etc.
    Lovely new menu, with lots to choose from: Pasta,meat, poultry , fish etc.
    We have visited this restaurant roughly once a month and we always come out
    satisfied and well fed. We look forward to going back as soon as we leave this restaurant. The food is cooked fresh and on order.

    In the summer its best you book your table in advance so not to be disappointed. Look out for a red sign with Assaggio Ristorante. A must go for anyone visiting Mellieha or the north of Malta.

    We recently had our wedding in Malta and after being let down by our hotel for a reception venue. We were desperately searching round for a nice restaurant to hold our reception. Luckily we found Fruit de Mer in Mellieha bay.
    We couldn't of asked for better hospitality. Evan at such short notice, the staff provided ourselves and our guests with the warmest welcomes and catered for a party of 28 with some of the best service we have ever experienced, nothing was to much trouble.
