An excellent campsite well placed for visiting Paris & Disney.
Good pools on site and plenty for kids to do.
The canvas kids clubs are great with pleasant experienced staff.
We stayed in a Canvas 2 Bed lodge deluxe which was very good indeed, well equipped and with a lovely quiet location at the far end of the site but not too far really from the pool and amenities.
Soissons station is 20 mins drive (We took a day out by train to Reims *change at Laon)
The Intermarche in the village is fine but there are better supermarkets in Soissons such as 'Cora'.
Te takeaways on site are ok and all of them are English speaking (But are more friendly if you make the effort to speak French)

We went to this site in October 2009 and stopped in a 8/10 person Gite. We had trouble with fridge but the french owners couldn't do enough to help. Brilliant park with plenty of space for kids.
Great idea dong the trips, as it saves any driving. Only down side is the expensive bar.- Read Guest's review (52 words)

I loved Berny Riviere La Croix du Vieux Pont! We stayed with keycamp in their one and only prestige caravan! It was beautiful! We outlooked the fishing lake which is stunning! The site is clean, tidy and great for young families! We also took full advantage of the small man made beach as i could sit back and relax while my daughter played in the water! I Highly recommend this campsite, was really sad to leave!- Read Claredrink's review (87 words)

Berny Riviere La Croix du Vieux Pont has a fantastic manmade beach and a very tidy and clean site with lots of facilities for the kids. The park also has relaxing spa facilities for us grown ups.
Really enjoyed the holiday so no bad points really apart from the tents on the park looked a little grubby.
From so many holiday parks in France we ended up searching on the web and found a site (myfamilyholidays. com) that had lots of reviews and helped us choose this fantastic holiday park.- Read Guest's review (90 words)

We have visited Berny Riviere La Croix du Vieux Pont twice for October half term.
The pool is excellent and the site we found to be very clean and tidy.
The site is very well placed to drive to Disney which we have done twice and also for a day trip to Reims by train (From Soissons changing at Laon).
* Some staff at Soisson station speaks better English than my French !
The bar and restaurant are ok and also the supermarket nearby has ample parking and is reasonably priced.
There is a large 'Cor ...- Read Guest's review (172 words)

This camp site is great. We have stayed in the gites twice now and have booked both times direct with the site. Parc Asterix - a must.If you have young kids try the pony riding at the stables near the camp site. For a bit of history visit the Armistice museum near Compiegne. In our opinion you can't go too wrong with this camp site and recommend the gites.- Read jasharris's review (144 words)

Good points, short walk to pretty village square from Berny Riviere La Croix du Vieux Pont. Very good location. Bad points, swimming pool changing area! Although it clearly states no shoes, people were allowed to walk round in very muddy shoes (October 1/2 term weather) so when you came down from the pool your feet got filthy. No viewing gallery for the indoor pool, so if parents weren't swimming, they left their muddy shoes near to the shallow walk thru'pool then sat alongside the pool, fully c ...- Read DianaT's review (110 words)

We arrived at 7.30pm, finding a rep was confusing but when we did he was helpful. The caravan only provided one blanket for each bed, it was first week in october so we had to buy a duvet. The caravan had not been cleaned previously as the work tops in the kitchen and the bathroom had a layer of dust. Kettle was unusable (probably due to the water) cooker was not clean. There was supposed to be glasses, none were available. Soft furnishings looked dirty, generally needed updating caravan looked ...- Read bisseker's review (419 words)

This will be our 3 rd visit. We love the site, the village and the area. As soon as we arrive a general air of relaxation comes over us.
The site is convenient to visit the surrounding area and cities such as Rheims.- Read delma mills's review (76 words)

Having read some of the reviews we were a bit worried about this site, but having booked last minute, with Eurocamp, beggars couldn't be choosers. We needn't have been worried. We were in a mobile home, overlooking the largest of the three lakes. Our pitch was enormous. The pool complex is fabulous for this kind of site. It has an indoor heated pool (roof gets pulled back in good weather), two outdoor pools, a heated indoor kids pool and two waterslides (also a jacuzzi). The restaurant is certai ...- Read Gloria1504's review (479 words)

Hated it (apart from the pool complex which was great). You might be okay if you don't stay in a tent (some of the static caravans and chalets looked quite nice) as the tents are near the stinky river and tents don't have toilets, forcing you to use the toilet block which didn't appear to be cleaned every day and needed cleaning at least twice a day!- Read Guest's review (182 words and 2 comments)

The site has got a lot bigger since our last stay. We stayed with Canvas Holidays in one of the Millennium caravans. The caravan was very spacious with 3 good sized bedrooms that was just slightly too small for our party (4 adults & 3 children). We were located in the new area which is quite a distance from the facilities. The vegetation in this area was still very young, no doubt this will start to look more homely once it all starts to grow a bit.Despite the expansion the number of washing m ...- Read speakle's review (488 words)

The La Croix du Vieux Pont is a very large campsite/holiday park situated a driving distance from Paris, including Disneyland paris. The park itself arranges day trips via coach to both.
There is plenty to do here, there are three pools, an indoor, an outdoor and a shallow childrens pool. I have been to this park on three occasions, twice in the middle of summer and all three times the outdoor pool has been shut. There are also several waterslides. However, be careful as leading up to the pools ...- Read PieDizzle's review (452 words)
