    The real review here...Been useing air rifles since youth,so I know!Got my Walther Talon Magnum .22 from Pyramyd on 11/15/09 Gun is solid and accurate(was shooting pellet in pellet groups in my basement at 35' with open sites!!!Pyramyd was fast shipping!Got gun and 4tins of pellets under$250 steal!The gun is blazing fast and hits hard with some of my 13 to 14 grain pellets going super sonic!These idiots need to put quality oil in the powerpiston! I totally recommend Lucas full synthetic motor oil, seals incrediable, keeps lubed and at full power!The gun is a for sure buy!The scope doesn't look the greatest, I haven't installed yet~but when I do, will be using plenty of loctite(gun has a decent kick)Buy the gun and take care of it and it will be an exellent gun!

    I purchased a Walther Talon air rifle two weeks ago and it blew a breach seal in less than 100 shots. I contacted UMAREX (the only parts supplier) about it and they say they do not have the seals and had to order them with ETA of 4-6 weeks. Proabably more like 3-4 months from the vauge conversation I had with them. I also asked about getting some extra ones if this was going to be a trend for the Talon model air rifle. It was if I had asked for the winning lottery numbers...

    I wanted a rifle like my Gamo Shadow with more power.This gun is definitely it! It's like a Shadow on steroids, with a little German style to it. (It's made in Turkey by Walther/Umarex). The plastic of the stock is of lower quality than the Shadow, and I wasn't impressed when I first felt the plastic trigger and safety switch, however, they are solid and work fine. The metal work is excellent and overall quality is very good. Gun feels great to handle, light and slim for a magnum. I've shot abou ...
