Good Points: + Very well looked after
    + Polite and courteous
    + No pressure selling
+ Much nicer than Car Giant (and I was one of the few that had a decent experience with them too!)
+ Car in very good condition
+ They DID negotiate - £2300 of the windscreen price (credit crunch to the rescue!).
+ Mature salesman not your young Car Giant wide boys (who are a laugh but will say anything)
+ Just overall a pleasant experience

Bad Points: - Hard sell on the guarantee (with a smiling face so nicer than Car Giant but still a hard sell).
    - Listening to the hard sell took ages! I declined on both even though the Service offer (4 services for £349) is quite good but the car i bought had full dealer history so going to stick with that.

General comments: I had reservations about Car Craft because they were more expensive than Car Giant and I actually had a good experience (and car) from them before. Nevertheless, Carcraft really made an effort and got the car I wanted to look at over to Chertsey from another branch.
The price reduction (which they do not officially do) was welcome. I mentioned a price of a similar car (in worse condition) at Car Giant and after checking their website, a "windscreen price reduction" was made.
Sales guy was really nice - kill you with kindness. Looked after the kids while I looked at the car and very patient. No hard sell from him at all (just the nice warranty girl...). The Sat Nav DVD was missing but he was kind enough to drop it off on his way to work the following day without even being asked.
Will use them again for sure.
A tip: they will say "the price is the price, we do not do price comparisons etc" but they moved for us. It will help if you have a direct comparable as I had on Car Giant. I paid £1000 more but for a year younger car with flawless body work and tinted windows (CG won had a lot of minor cosmetic flaws).

Car had balancing issue which needed to be returned to car craft three times. The first time was that he forgot to order the part and the second time he had a ordered the wrong part.
Found out that my spare tyre had a puncture and the locking wheel nuts were lost.

Carcraft sent me an email promising £2000 for my car regardless of age against their summer specials. They made an appontment for me to see the salesman at 10.30am. My wife and I made a special journey and when we got there The salesman was on holiday and they were not expecting us. They asked what I wanted. I explained the email offer and asked to see the specials. They said they are mixed up with all the other cars - pick one you like and we will tell you if it's in the offer. We picked ...

My wife and I went in to Carcraft, on Saturday last week and spent 5 and a half hours being told that I would be able to drive away that day.
As it was a must, I kept on confirming this to be told of course, our aim is to make sure you leave with the car on the day of purchase....WELL, after 5 and a half hours of being bored stiff in the waiting area, I was told in the last ten minutes before deal was signed that they did not have the V5 logbook..... Surely this is something they would have kno ...
