as soon as you walk into carcrafts showroom its like you're a piece of dead meat in a vulture cage. i can understand they work on commision but the way they are is almost like how traders are in third world countrys..its just not neccesary.

we ended up putting a deposit on a car which cost £12000 and was told we would be given tax with the car (via cash back) picked it up yesterday went to get it taxed and was told it was not possible as the car is registered as disabled, phone CC and have been told they would phone me back (we all know i wont be getting a phone call) and for now i will be running the risk of getting pulled over as i have no other way of getting to work.

also i was told the interest would be 11% when all the papers were signed i was told that the interest was now 27.9% meaning i will be paying around £17000 for the car, although i know that its the finance company that sort interest i belive the salesman mislead me on the interest front

it really is like they're kissing your behind until the second you sign that last sheet of paper then just don't give a rats

although i love the car i got i wouldn't use car craft again, hopfully nothing will go wrong with the car as i just know i will be expecting some major headaches,

unless you have no other option (like us) avoid like the plague.

Bad customer service from Carcraft. we have been told many times we will get a call back but they never do. The manager does not sympathize with our problems and he hasn't offered us a solution the manager said our car was ready but then when we phone up the servicing department they said they haven't started the work on it, we were given the wrong spare key which means when we had a problem with the auto natter we could n't lock the doors so the car was left unlocked for two nights, carcraft d ...

Both my boyfriend and I have bought cars from Carcraft Lakeside - he a BMW 3 series and I a Citroen C3. For the first 5 weeks after buying our cars we have been to the Lakeside Carcraft every week due to various problems with our cars.
Did I mention that Lakeside have sold us vehicles without log books? They neglected to tell us until we had bought the vehicle that it can take up to 6 weeks to send for a new one!
Carcraft have a good range of cars at reasonable prices (if you firmly negotiate wi ...

We purchased an Audi A4 Estate for £17,500 from Carcraft Lakeside in Essex, looked lovely, clean & tidy.
After just 7 weeks the transmission failed at a repair cost of £4500. We contacted Carcraft and when we eventually got through, we attempted to take advantage of our 2 years parts & labour guarantee. We spent 3 weeks trying to resolve this, costing us not only time off work, phonecalls, toll fees, petrol, hire vehicle, recovery costs, etc.
We were finally asked to attend the sto ...

We bought a car through Carcraft, had a good visit, met as soon as we walked in the shop and were quickly shown what we wanted, found a lovely car, went for a test drive, got quite a good deal on our part ex. We wanted to pick the car up the following Saturday but got phone calls during the week could we come and get it earlier, it turned out we did have the money earlier than we thought so went and picked up on the Thursday, after calling to check it was ready. Arrived at the showroom at 5pm an ...

This outfit need to be exposed. I was foolish not to check sites like this before making my purchase. I don't want others to be as foolish as me. Spread the word around about this outfit and save consumers

I was told the car had a CD changer in the boot. I checked the day after the car was delivered, it was missing. I told Carcraft and they said nothing they could do.

My husband purchased a Ford Focus ST end of October from Carcraft, 2 weeks later it broke down, a major gear box/clutch problem.....had to wait until a week day to contact Carcraft workshop dept, car towed the following day. The Carcraft loan car left was in a worse state than our one that had been towed! Several phonecalls later (some 2 weeks after our car was towed) I had to send a fax threatening Watchdog mechanics coming to inspect the rubbish loan car and would like to know how our car was ...
