General comments: Went to view a St170 at Wednesbury, thankfully I did my research on the car and first thing i noticed was the standard fit 6 disk CD player was missing and instead there was a tape deck, the stereo lit up orange so did not even match the green theme that SHOULD have been there and the steering wheel controls did not work. Next issue was the original plip key for the car was missing so there was no way to lock, unlock, pop boot, close windows and set the alarm.
I had placed a deposit on this car previously but as it was not as advertised i said i would walk away and have my deposit back. After a big disagreement with the salesman, who eventually got into the car shut the door and drove off, i went and spoke to a manager. He assured me they would get the right stereo fitted and get a new key, so I said thats reasonable and I got him to put into writing that I could have my deposit back if none of this came true. He said he would ring me Monday to confirm. Well I rang 4 times Monday every time being promised of a call back, eventually I was promised a call first thing in the morning as he had been in meetings! Next morning came and went, no phone call, i rang them for the 5th time to be told the manager was off today but had left a message to cancel the deal! I ended speaking to another person who informed me that the previous manager had rang me with no reply I was told they were willing to do nothing so i said i did not want the car and I want my deposit back.
I'm still waiting for my deposit to be refunded now.

I bought a car from Carcraft West Midlands 3 months ago. I had read these reviews, so went very weary of what I was going to find. I recently purchased a car, on finance from Car Craft. As I drove the car home I noticed various faults, and after only two days of owning the car it broke down. I had to use jump leads to restart the car, but the problem did seem okay. I know many people out there have nothing but trouble with Car Craft and their fantastic wear and tear NAC warranties.

The model they sold us was not the model on the logbook but an inferior model worth less, they agreed to the return of the car only because they had broke the sales of goods act. Advice for everyone, carcrafts nac warantee company is owned by carcraft, second if your vehicle developes a major fault within the first six months, under the march 2003 ammendment to the sales of goods act, you are entitled to the vehicle being repaired or replaced, if after a reasonable amount of time this is not done then you have the right to reject the vehicle.
