    Sound, smell and character. Known the World over, often (with various degrees of success) but In my opinion never bettered.

    The Triumph Bonneville T140V Was a big bike in its day, now a nimble flickable honey with style and presence. Later models were most reliable and the addition of improved equipment does not detract from its character. Late 60s T120s are sought after by Collectors but the late 70s and early 80s are generally more reliable. The later non Meriden produced bikes are OK but in ...

    Have owned my Triumph Bonneville T140 since 1980 paid 600 pounds for it then and still own it after 28 years. I rebuilt the main bearings at 20.000 miles with good bearings. had a couple of cylinder heads in its time and a set of pistons and barrells but the bike has done over 80.000 miles now. Always starts even with flat battery its a good trusty bike. I also own a Suzuki bandit 600 but the noise and feel of the triumph is in a class of its own. will I ever sell it no chance.
