I bought a 3 and a half year old car for just over £5k from Evans Halshaw and it has spent a total of 4 weeks in the garage being repaired in the nine weeks I have had the car. Initially the brakes were bound on and my fuel consumption was terrible. Evans Halshaw wanted to check the brakes had bound on and even offered to pay for diagnostic testing. I then did a touring holiday to France and the car developed a rattle. On returning home I took it to my local garage who suggested a brake pad problem. Evans Halshaw replaced the brakes again. Now my car has been in for almost two weeks. Initially a head gasket was needed, now a whole engine is being put it. My insurance wouldn't cover me for their courtesy car, but neither would Evans Halshaw meet me even half way for the cost of a courtesy car. The engine was late arriving but still it has taken a week longer than anticipated.

I bought my Vauxhall from Evans Halshaw Lincoln after a recommendation from a friend.I have to say it wasn't a bad experience by any measure. I wasn't hassled by salesmen, I wasnt pushed into taking the most expensive deal, and was OK to walk away from deals I didnt want.Eventually I found a car I wanted and the staff were very helpful and answered my questions.
