Here are some of my thoughts on this garage!

I bought the car in April and it has now been in the garage 7times!!
When I first received the car there were numerous problems, which I was not told about when I signed for the car. Should I have known these existed I would not have agreed the deal.
Firstly, the car was delivered five days late, which wasn't a very convincing sign that Citroen were a well-established reliable company. After the car was delivered I was then told I could not have it yet as the glove box would not close & it needed replacing. This then took a further forty-eight hours to rectify. This still does not fit correctly and sometimes jams.
The car also did not have dust caps on two of the wheels, the alloys had been kerbed, and one of my tyres was cracked. The garage assured me this was not a MOT failure and it was completely safe, 5 months later I am told I need a new tyre for my MOT.
I also pointed out that the disc brakes on the front has a lip on them, I did not expect a car I was paying a lot of money for to have worn brakes. I was again assured they were in good condition and would have at least 12,000 miles left on them. But after only six-thousand miles my brakes weren't working properly they kept locking up, I took it into the garage but once again they assured me they were perfectly safe and did not need replacing despite the grinding noise coming from them when I brake & them not actually stopping the car all the time. Three weeks later the same garage tells me I need to spend £250 on new brakes. Makes me think they never even checked them!
Also, when the car was received the digital display was not attached to the dashboard; the garage apologised and fixed this strait away. When I finally drove to car away there was a knocking noise coming from the rear, this turned out to be broken suspension. The service team tried to get me to pay for this until I pointed out that the car hadn't even been in my possession a week & it was also covered by warranty.
I also noticed that the bodywork of the car was not up to a good standard once it had been cleaned, it had two trolley dings in the driver's door, and a scrape on the front bumper.
The main problem I have with this car despite all the others is the electric window on the passenger side. The switch for this window on the driver's side does not work, it will let you put the window down but will not always let you put it back up. It has been into the garage six times now and it is still not working properly, each time I am assured that it is fixed.
The last time I took it in it was fixed for three hours then started playing up again. This problem comes and goes and I understand it may be difficult to fix but after I have taken time of work unpaid, put petrol in courtesy cars I am appalled that it has still not been fixed. I feel like this car is not fit for its purpose & the service I have received is below standard.
On two separate occasions of going to the garage I have returned without being able to leave my car even though I had booked it in over the phone days in advance, both times I was told there was a courtesy car ready for me. One time I went in and a member of the sales team still had the courtesy car and had not turned up to work. And the other they could not find me a car that was of a smaller engine than a 2l that I could get insured on for the day.
After seeking legal advice I found out that it is the finance company liable for the car & that I am to give you them a chance to rectify this once more. Should this not happen I am of the understanding that you will have to replace the car with one of the same model with a similar mileage/age that is in perfect working order.
I am extremely stressed about this I bought this car as a safe reliable family car & have had nothing but trouble. I am six months pregnant and have a two year old and could really do without the stress from such a large company. All I expect of a large dealership is to provide a satisfactory service and a good standard of goods that meet their purposes.
I have been in again since and guess what it is not fixed! They did replace the tyre & my brake pads but not the discs despite being told that the discs were dangerous! But the window is still no different. I have spoken to the dealer principle who has told me there is nothing they can do as aprently it works fine while it is there!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GARAGE AND WOULD ADVISE PEOPLE TO STAY WELL AWAY! I WILL BE SELLING MY CITROEN C4 AND NEVER GOING BACK TO THEM!

I arranged an appointment at my local Evans Halshaw (Stockport) but they didn't have model and age I wanted. I was told they could look on their network of cars. I asked if this incurred any extra cost and was assured it didn't. Was then asked to view car within my budget on computer in managers office, why this couldn't have been done at salemans desk on his computer, I don't know. Only viewed pictures of car and then was given details of car with finance etc on paper. Agreed in principle to ca ...
