Good Points: Excellent views across the Mediterranean sea, spotless villa, well equipped kitchen, bathroom etc. comfy furnishings

Bad Points: Steps to pool could have been a bit larger (safer for children)

General comments: When we pulled up outside the Villa Maricel in Menorca we were amazed, it was like something out of mtv cribs!!! It was a picture of loveliness, it was owned by a local artist and we spent ages looking at his works of art, which were decorated around the villa, it was a light airy villa with loads of hallspace. Good sized bedrooms and the kitchen was huge. It was a hop skip and jump from the beach, but very little in the way of restaurant choice and nightlife, but my kids love the beach, and we hired a car, so we didn't really let it bother us. We travelled to son bou, cala blnca, calan bosch, cala galdana, santo thomas, son parc, macarella, cala porter just to name a few so we had a good knowledge of the island. As we had been there the year before we knew where we wanted to return to, the sun terrace and swimming pool on the villa were amazing too and the pool table and table tennis added to our enjoyment. Would return in a few years to this villa..
