If you buy a cleaning rod and brushes do NOT use the wire barrel brush!!! The soft brush went through fine but the wire brush promptly got stuck in the baffles and could not be removed. Took it to my gunsmith where I had purchased it and he had no idea what to do. In the absence of instructions I took a guess and unscrewed the end cap, caught all the springs and baffles and found the wire brush firmly embedded in a plastic section. This Bretton - Gaucher G12 phantom silenced .410 is a single shot, bolt action, fully moderated .410 shotgun. I believe it is the cheapest available in the uk and is made in France.

Nice to hold, Handles well, Easy to bead and shoot. 2.5" cartridges a hell of a lot quieter than 3" Magnums. A useful tool where noise can be an important factor. Just a shame there is no strip down manual, a bit awkward to clean without. A good gun for the money mine was £225. (read more)

G12 phantom silenced 410 is definitely built to a price but thats no bad thing .
Light weight plastic stock and a full length shrouded & silenced barrel .Weighs about 5.5lb , 45" long + 14" reach to trigger .

Tried both this and the Baikal hushpower . The Baikal is definitely better built but is longer, more front heavy and more expensive .After looking at both I prefered the G12 .
The G12 is very easy to shoot ,Its 1 of those guns that just feels right. It will take upto a 3" magnum... (read more)
