I bought a Hyundai Ix35 Crdi Premium from Arnold Clark's branch at Kingsway East, Dundee in mid November 2012. I paid over £17000. Two months later the engine cut out as I was driving up a very busy dual carriageway at 5.30am. I managed to pull off the road but had to sit in sub-zero temperatures until the RAC came to my rescue. The mechanic explained to me that the diesel had thickened due to the cold weather and the fuel filter failed as a result. When this was explained to the service... (read more)

Bought a car from Arnold Clark in 2008, car had loads of fault's with in the first week, went back to Arnold clark and they were not interested in any of the faults. they also miss sold finance on the car the APR was ment to 2.9 and when i got the agreement through from the credit agreement it was 8.2% , when i complained they advised you signed it so tough basically (read more)

Arnold Clark Dundee Vauxhall - Over 3000 pounds of repairs to a car with only 20k miles on the clock - In one Year - 3 Clutches, I Engine Management Unit, New Suspension, Leaks in the Footwell after clutch replacements, I New Fuel Pump ..... Suspiciously each huge repair came after previous work on the car??? As they say Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware. (read more)
