Owned it for about 2 hours in total ... what i mean is it was still in the shop .. then to my house .. then back in the shop ... in about 2 hours - purchased from Currys who sold this to me for £275.00 (£45 at least over and above Net prices) ... eventually after i get it home and unpacked it we noticed it had factory damage on the front that made the door not want to open ... i attempted to phone Currys ... hung up on twice then they wouldnt give me the store number, they tried to put me through to an answer phone at the store .. that was full of messages and couldnt take anymore .. eventually i took it back by car ... full refund back and good job as machine was pants

Absolutely terrible, the only way you can use this Kenwood KDW12ST3A is if you wash the dishes by hand first!! Ive had mine for about 12 months, it takes forever to 'wash', but you put more stuff back in when its finished because its never clean, and the door lock is now broken and you have to bang on the front due to a loose wire to make it work - not a great buy, would never touch one again.

We have had this kenwood kdw12st3a dishwasher for 4.5 years. Fortunately we took out a 5 year warranty which is the only reason why we still have it and use it. We have had an engineer out to it over 15 times (I lost count). It's had 2 new top trays, a new door hinge and a new water heater. It has never washed very well, sometimes the very dirty pots end up shedding their dirt onto the not so dirty pots which all gets baked in the drying cycle. These can then only be cleaned manually after soaki ...

This has been a terrible dishwasher ever since we had the misfortune to buy it. Kenwood KDW12ST3A doesn't wash dishes properly. Can only manage dishwasher liquid not powder or tablets which leave residue. Glasses left cloudy. Salt indicator doesn't work. Door now broken. A pile of rubbish.

Had the Kenwood KDW12ST3A just over a year. Started going wrong after about 6 months, kept flashing up E1 error and engineer told me it was because people down my road was using a lot of water leading to poor pressure. After about 10 months E1 kept flashing up again, I called Engineer again and they told me I was using wrong Dishwasher tablets. I have now decided to throw the the Dishwasher away. What a waste of money.

This Kenwood KDW12ST3A is without doubt the worst dishwasher I have ever had the misfortune to use. EVERYTHING comes out dirtier than when it went in. For those people who complain about dirty glasses, everything else is dirty too, you just can't see the muck on things like cups and plates. Not that the plates fit in there anyway. Wash programme takes 2 hrs 21 mins, not sure if that's good or not, would happily settle for longer time if items came out clean.

What a waste of money this Kenwood KDW12ST3A was, we bought this in hope of being an asset to our kitchen. However, we have spent more time trying to figure out how to get it to clean our dishes. They sometimes even come out dirtier than they went in, unless we run it empty with finish dishwasher cleaner, then we get a good 2 washes. Waste of our time and money.

Only had my dishwasher for 3 days now, but my main grumble is that when I first went to load it my standard sized plates cannot be stacked in the racks as then the thing that spins around in the middle bashes against them and cannot rotate. I have to lay my plates down on their sides, which if I have a lot of plates means I have to do two loads at about 3 hours a cycle! They top tray seems to be really low, which is unnecessary as even the tallest of glasses still have plenty of clearance above ...

Hours and hours of time spent on the telephone trying to get my Kenwood KDW12ST3A repaired of replaced. Broke down 5 times with the same failure mode. Service back up un-professional.

Don't buy one of these Kenwood KDW12ST3A, no matter how nice you think they look! If you already have one, sympathies - probably best to get rid of it sooner rather than later. I have given up and taken my Mum's offer of her old dishwashing machine. So what if it is white in appearance - I just want clean dishes for a change!

The Kenwood KDW12ST3A does not clean very well, takes far too long to clean, have had error flash up three times in under a year. I would not recommend it. It looks modern and great but, I would not recommend it.

From the start it has leaked but that seems to have stopped now! Doesn't clean anything very well, glasses are left with dirt dried on them and sometimes there is still food left on the bowls/plates. I would definitely not recommend this dishwasher.

Glasses are a big problem with this Kenwood KDW12ST3A, these come out dirtier then when they went in. The only way I can get my glasses clean is to wash them by hand in the sink. After every 3 or 4 washes you have to run it with nothing in to clean it, if you don't do this it gets nothing clean. It takes nearly 3 hours for just one cycle. It recommends dishwasher powder and I find that it doesn't like any kind of dishwashing tablet. The build quality inside is very poor, the door sticks con ...
