    I've got a corner sofa from Slot Furniture. It was like trying to put together a giant 3D puzzle. I like the colour of the sofa, however its squeeky and the back isnt high enough so i end up resting my head on the wall. Its OK, but i wish id just saved up and bought a sofa i REALLY liked!

    Ordered a modular corner sofa two years ago from Slot Furniture and am reasonably happy with it, but my main complaint is the assembly...the instructions were near impossible to understand..took me the best part of a day to build.

    Ordered a sofa from Slot in May 2008. The sofa was not ready on time and were told there was a problem with one of the machines and the completion date was put back and put back. We never received the sofa and we have not been able to contact the company. The phone just rings and rings. We had to claim back the money from the credit card company but this all takes time, phone calls, faxes and more personal expense. A wasted day trip to Windsor, a waste of time and money which we can ill afford. ...

    I bought a u-shaped sofa from Slot Furniture back in March and was disappointed with the quality also the style Didn't allow it to fit where I wanted it, so I returned it within the 14 days only to be told it would take upto 30 days to refund! Those days came and went so I called countless times just getting lots of excuses I wrote to them 3 times with no response. I am now considering court action, but still not sure what to do any advice would be appreciated.

    Having placed our order for a U shaped sofa on 3rd June 08 with Slot Furniture we have heard nothing and have not been able to get hold of them ever since. I found myself near Windsor today and decided to make a detour to the offices we made our order at. The whole place was curtained and seemed deserted.     Placed my order with Slot Furniture on 30 June, never even received an receipt or acknowledgment and no sofa has been delivered so far. No replies to phone calls and emails etc.

    First ordered from Slot Furniture 18 months ago - took more than 3 months for delivery. Due to accident in home, ordered replacement cushion covers on 13 June - told 3 weeks delivery but am still waiting on 6 August. Unable to contact company as phones not answered and no reply to email.

    Similar story with Slot Furniture to the rest of the reviewers. Placed an order in person at the factory shop in June and paid for the new sofa on my credit card. The expected delivery date came and went so I tried to contact Slot. Emails, phone calls, answer phone messages and letters have all been sent. Guess what? Not a peep out of them! Very frustrating!     Like most people who have dealt with slot furniture, I also have had a bad experience with this company. I visited the showroom in person when ordering, it all seemed fine, I paid with my credit card and hoped to get my furniture within 5 weeks. That was the last I heard. I couldn't get through to the company, I then looked on this site and then it became apparent probably I wouldn't be getting anything.

    I placed an order with Slot Furniture on 11th June. I have been unable to contact the company since either by phone or e mail. I rang consumer direct on 08454040506 and they sent me a template letter requesting response within 7 - 14 days. Next step I will contact my credit card company to try and get my money back (not holding my breath). They were quick to take my order. Good luck to all that have been sucked in too.

    Still haven't been able to contact Slot Furniture and I ordered June 08. I have learned from the Companies House website that the company is awaiting 'strike off' (http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/df8e805ad2dc6ee84e2636ca93e633d8/compdetails). I'm just weary that this might mean that our money paid to them could dissapear if this company goes bust? Apparently, customers like us can have a say if you write a letter to Companies House.     I ordered and paid for a corner sofa for my conservatory in May 08. Delivery was scheduled for July 15. Furniture was not delivered and have been unable to contact anyone by phone and no reply to emails so far. I have already contacted my credit card company to make a claim against the credit card company on the basis of section 75 of credit card act. I'm not holding out any hopes of seeing my furniture, just hoping I can get my money back.

    We were supplied the wrong arms with our sofa from Slot Furniture and have been unable to get any replies to sort it out. I even tried visiting their site in Windsor, but at the time there was no one there.
    I've now seen another Slot furniture on the web, giving a Slough address and phone No. but again so far no replies from my communication.

    Well the furniture looked great on the www.slotfurniture.com website. But we still haven't seen it after 2 weeks of calls; we placed our order 8 weeks ago. The order number leads to a business reply service and the MD doesn't answer his mobile to us currently.We are owed money or furniture and we have no one to speak to. Does this company still trade? My advice would be shop elsewhere.

    I got a Slot Zio 5 seater corner sofa from www.slotfurniture.com, but I was sent the wrong backs to the corner sofa. Was sent short backs instead of long backs. They said they would send me out the correct ones. It never happened. When I said I would settle for the return of the extra money I had paid for the long backs, I just got a lot of excuses.
