Good Points: Quiet, cool running, fast access speeds, proper on/off switch and auto power down when host PC is switched off/disconnected.
Bad Points: Solid plastic feet transmit vibration which makes my desk hum! Stick it on the floor and you won't even notice.
General comments: Overall I am very pleased with this drive. I have used several external hard drives before and this one is the quickest of the lot. It is very quiet (it is fanless after all) and the auto shutdown feature is a boon for me.
Looks are obviously down to personal taste but the black/silver case matches my PC perfectly so I think it is quite pleasant to look at.
