    Good Points: Straightens very well. Leaves hair shiny and soft. Excellent price point. Auto shutoff


    Bad Points: On/off button somewhat hard to press - not a big deal


    General comments: My daughter and I have owned all sorts of straightening irons, including Maxi Glide. This is the best, and costs less than half the price. Why pay a fortune for a straightener when you get the same results from the Remington.
    My hair is very, very frizzy, curly and thick and it remains straight using the Remington. My daughters is very, very thick and extremely wavy - stick straight results.
    Pus, you get lots and lots of shine.

    I have dry, coarse, unruly, curly, long, and frizzy hair. Deadly combination. I have tried countless straighteners, and have never been impressed for too long. I borrowed these straighteners, the Remington T-Studio Wide plate straighteners from a friend, and was shocked at how straight, smooth, and flat my hair was. Not only that, but it was amazing how quickly I was able to go through my entire head of hair. Impressive! I would like to know how this compares to the CHI Turbo, which is about ...
