Best Crossman ever, the 1400 is very powerful and accurate. Kills rabbits and other game easily. I've shot my 1400 over two million times, and now I am rebuilding it.
the 1400 is worth every Penney, just try it you will like it, I guarantee.
the only drawback is that there is no dove tail for scope mounting.
If there is a mounting system let me know, but the iron sights are very accurate.

Has nice power enough to propel a .22 cal round. Has distective styling, handles well. Overal well constructed rifle and Crosman was the first air rifle I ever owned.

I bought this gun new for $40.00 in 1976. It still shoots as well as it did new. It has a walnut stock with a bolt action. It was said to have 1000 fps. I think it may ahve lost a bit, but not much. I can drop crows from 30-50 yards with no problem. It is also a great squirrel gun.
