Good Points: Large Screen, Very commonly found Battery, Handy Roller button.

Bad Points: Always breaking down, not suitable for carrying in your pocket, poor reception, Too big and slippy.

General comments: Had a Nokia 7110e for 3years. I paid a lot of money for this phone when it first came out, therefore feel cheated by Nokia, if not for the phone insurance I would have replaced it long ago, Too big and slippy!

I've used this Nokia 7110e mobile phone for nearly 4 years (ever since it came out) now, and it's still the best looking phone among my friends' even though they keep changing theirs. If you take care of it properly it should keep pretty well. My flip still works like it's brand new after all these years (I keep it open when I'm home), the phone book can contain up to 1000 names (mine's only up to 37%), and the battery still keeps its charge (I haven't changed it yet).
Sadly I now need GPRS so ...

If there is one thing that sets the Nokia 7110 / 7110e WAP Mobile phone apart it's the scarcity and uniqueness of the design. This phone will become vintage in a few years, so if you have a workig one, hang on to it.

i always wanted this phone and i just couldnt find it.i remembered that my cousin had one but i only go to her house about twice a year. i eventually went to her house and asked her what she had done with it.i found it and then it hit me that she had brokenthe slide part leaving the keypad open for good. the main reason i loved this phone was because of the slide feature but it was broke off on this phone. i was very sad.i took it anyway because my cousin had got a new phone.i did not have a sim ...

Totally it's not a good mobile phone for youth. It's made for business. It weights 144gr and is a bit heavy these days.
If you would like to have a mobile phone, buy the 6310i instead. It's smaller, sexier and it has more functions, especially voice dialling - 7110 doesn't have voice at all -and less software bugs.

You can go on the net with it. it is a comfortable phone to carry around. It is a bit big for a mobile phone and you cant buy different covers for it

The Nokia 7110 is a nice mobile phone to have, especially if you have a powerbook/laptop which has infrared. The games are good, especially Snake II. Weighs 144g, is bulky but I'm hopefully planning to get a 5510 which weighs 155g.

Phone technology has improved a lot and there are certainly better phones (possible light colour ones {like Tokyo phones}).

The 7110 mobile phone is a one off design that Nokia should have updated on, rather than withdraw the phone after a year and a half. I wished that the drop down cover could have dropped down further, as when I press the * or + or the # buttons, my finger gets in the way of my finger, so in princible, the key pad should have been greater in depth.

The send and close the call buttons should have redesigned so making them more visable to press, leave them where they are, yet make the stand out. ...

Nokia, please take note, other manufactures have created some very sexy & compact phones over the past year, i.e motorola v66, sony Z7e, samsung A300. However Nokia has always knocked the competition for six when it comes to being user friendly, we LOVE Nokias for that, however they have just become boring to look at, please, please get your thinking cap on, the 7110 was your last desirable phone that was just that bit different, it had that appeal. Please work on it. We love Nokia for its user ...

This Nokia 7110 is simply the best mobile phone ever! The design is awesome, the memory for the phonebook and calendar is unmatched. It is more than just a phone - it is easily synchronised with most PIMS (including Lotus Notes and Outlook), and the Navi Roller is revolutionary. The predictive text makes iteven easier to use, with added features such as Title case. Ability to create folders for messages is also wonderful! I have used other phones but this one taks the cake. Unfortunately, it is r ...

Have used lots of handys, the Nokia 7110 is still unbeaten if you work with hundreds of numbers and addresses needing quick searches and not getting your finger tips wounded!

The Nokia 7110 is a nice mobile phone. Recommended. I would say it is a phone for those who take pride really. I like it. My friends don't but I don't see why. It is nice, good games, ringtones and fast IR-da. I like it.

Nokia 7110 mobile phone: apart from it's size which is quite dated now:
    1. The slide cover comes off.
    2. It starts to switch itself off after a while for no reason.
    3. The sound quality became increasingly bad to inaudible
    4. Both of the two phones I had failed with water inside them
    5. The signal reception is poor
    6. The phone seems to lock out occassionally and can't be used until it resets itself (I never found out how or why)
    7. WAP is as usual a complete waste of time.
    I've finally ...

A lot of people seem to have issues with the Nokia 7110 mobile phone..... i don't get it:
I have had so many mobiles recently i have lost count, this one is one of the oldest models other than the sh888, yet it is by far the best feature wise. Ok the wap browser is a bit shabby but this is the FIRST wap phone! And you can get sofware upgrades to try and fix the probs within the waranty period or for £20 (cheaper if you want to shop around) from your local dodgy dan while you wait!
