I phoned today to enquire about a deal I saw on Ice Lolly, I waited over 45minutes before they answered and when they did, the "girl" was very abrupt! I asked for the flight times for a particular deal and she said she would only check if I was ready to book immediately at the end of the call. She said all I needed to know was that they add extra for the transfers and inflight meals and that she WOULD NOT TELL ME ANYMORE! I was absolutely disgusted with her attitude. I have never known... I was charged £300 more than agreed for a holiday from this company. When you enter your details on the website they call you back and increase the cost of the holiday you have booked. If you want to cancel immediately they say you can't and will be charged. They deliberately mislead when you book with them. Sunsave.com have a complaints dept....I wonder why!!!! They are inept at trying to sort complaints. For one thing they don't listen and fudge around the issue. As they are agents they don't seem to have much sway with there suppliers. I gave them sub £1200 for apartment in Tenerife..after having to pay more to move from a disgusting room...I discovered the disgusting room was being sold for sub £500 on other web sites. I Totally agree with the previous review written yesterday exactly the same thing has happened to me over the weekend. It has taken my account overdrawn and my mortgage was not paid because the original amount i was quoted was over what i had planned to spend. The quote i got online was £888 for two of us but the final bill was £1449.00 which was never ever mentioned. When i asked the total amount to be debited from my account i was told £588. you can ask to listen to the telephone conversation when you booked your holiday. It costs £10 but if you know your right and the conversation confirms that you can then get in touch with ATOL and they will investigate for you.

As i was exploring IceLolly.com I came across the travel agent which was sunsave.com. Like many of you on here I too have had a terrible experience. I also Booked with this company and they raised the Price and when i tried to cancel they siad i would lose a lot of money,so I went ahead,I thought it was all booked.I got a phone call next morning to ask me if i wanted transfer to hotel we needed atrsnsfer from dubrovnic to Korcula Sunsave quoted a xtra 366.00pounds I told them where to go.We did it ourselfs.We stayed in Toni appartments for one night 31.00 pounds.next day we caught the public bus to korcula cost 20.00 for two.cost altogether return 80.00.Sunsave should be ashamed of themselves If we can do it anybody can our ages are 64 and 66.Ihope this helps.Good luck.

Do not use this company they are dodgey as hell!!! In january i found a brilliant 14nyt holiday with sunsave but after booking with then over the phone that cost me £150 more than their website stated the confirmation came through stating 7nyts. When i called up to ask why they said thats what i had booked n there was nothing they could do. Please keep away! Me and my friends asked for a weeks holiday to Ibiza. They spent a long time finding deals and made the process very complicated yet quoted a very good price at the end. Booked a holiday for January in October last year. The hotel price was a bit dearer than advertised but, according to Sunsave, the prices change by the minute. However the holiday went without a hitch and we had no complaints. Must admit that having read the previous reviews I was very dubious but have to speak as I find and they were ok. Was I just lucky? The price they tell you is not the price you will end up paying after you have paid your deposit the price will just keep going up and up so unless you want to loose your £400+ deposit you have to pay and all they say is its in the T&C's in very small print on a very long list. This company are lying when they advertise online. When you try and purchase online it will just take card details and say an adviser will ring in 24 hours. They will ring but not with the prices advertised I was interested in a few different holidays they all came out at least 200 quid more. HOAX AVOID. i have never trusted companies where you book a holiday through phone, but decided to try once- that was a mistake. First of all after I have placed my order online, on friday evening, they started to call me at 9am on Saturday morning (usualy people sleep at this time)so I've picked up phone at around 12, but I was still sleepy. Had to pay the usual baggage, check in fees and transfer, couldnt get the cheaper rooms we wanted so they tried to get £500 more for other ones, but the lady was very helpful and we managed to agree a night less for around about the price I was expecting. I just booked a holiday with this company that seems to put low prices on there website to draw u in then wen u call up they tell u the websites not live n hike the price up. Then wen i went to check my tickets n dates i found id paid £760 for one week not two like i had asked n to change there mistake they wanted more money. I cannot stress enough how disappointing this company are. All the usual horror stories are true. We booked a holiday over the phone and it was a totally different one booked on paper. As it was a last minute they had already confirmed the flights and we could not get a refund. Why don't you just speak with customers when they call. I was badgered about booking on the call before I could ask anything. I was looking at an expensive holiday and wanted to know the additional costs. I am not willing to enter my bank details and take pot luck. I need to know the full cost before I book and what the deposit would be or if it is pay in full at time of booking. Not a good start.

I also had an experience with that that was appalling! Was told I was being snappy for asking about the extra flight prices and told to book first then ring. I was on icelolly.com and saw a good deal to Benidorm for a week for my and my partner for just under £700. After booking online I got a call from sunsave. The cheapest they could do me the holiday was £995 + £50 per vas and another £24 for transfers! This then made the holiday from being reasonable to being more than expensive. I booked with SunSave for the first time today and had an amazingly helpful employee speak to me on the phone. Unfortunately the price I was expecting from the website was lower than reality (ended up about £50 more once you include easyjet debit card fees and changes in hotel prices) but I guess that's life! However, the operator helped me find a deal more within my budget and was really friendly and charming. We spoke for a long time and I felt well looked after and got a great deal.
