Duffy, Rockferry review - Enjoyable melodies and a thoroughly entertaining gravelly, nasal vocal - reminiscent of a young Lulu - this is a pretty good album which will continue to grow on you after the first few listens.

Mercy is a great pop song, while Rockferry has a relaxed charm about it straight out of the 60's soul scene. But you can find hooks back into Motown, Dusty Springfield and even the Supremes in quite a lot of the album, which doesn't fail to disappoint with a great range of... (read more)
