In an area where there are fewer venues than most other areas in the country, Whins Pond has everything.
Whether you are after the carp, prefer pole fishing or ledgering, the fish are there to be caught.
Double figure nets of silverfish are common place, while bream to double figures and 20lb carp are not rare.
Only bad point I can find about the place, is that you are on pallets, and need some form of umbrella attachment or get soaking wet !
