while on holiday i fished here in mid october 2010 for 2 visits using 2 rods one with floating line and 12ft long leaders the other with an intermediate line and 9ft tippet using apps bloodworm and montanas ..overall i caught 7 rainbows average 2.5lb all returned on a sporting £16 ticket, on my last visit the lovely lady owner (kath i think)and her dog came down to the spur i was fishing off and offered her advice in the windy difficult conditions ..most appreciated it was too..as i landed a... Once one of the top places for perfect, peaceful fishing but now although the fishing is good the peace is not,thanks to constant shotgun discharges all day long."It's crack up material" probably for the fish as well.
