Twitter is great if you're a very busy person and do multiple things a lot. I've been using it quite a lot, this is due to the fact I have many websites that I made and they need to be updated. When I post a new tutorial or guide I'll update it to Twitter to let followers know what's going on.

It's a good, free service that I recommend to busy people who need updating a lot.

I like the twitter for its simplicity and macro blogging. Its different from orkut or facebook for the fact that its not clutter with phots/albums/games etc. Its a tool for online marketing and connecting the ppls very fast.

Twitter is surely a case of the Emperor's New Clothes syndrome? I can't see how the service will survive as it will not crossover into the mainstream and is not supportable by a business model. It will be overtaken soon by The Next Big Thing, so enjoy it while you can.

Ive only had a quick look at twitter so far and to be honest i spent most of the time on site trying to work out what its all about. Ive since been had a twitter explanation and i can see why its popular and but as yet I dont think ill twittering about anything. I think im at the point where im all social networked out and just cant be bothered to tackle another...I know at some point i will though. Ive got my account and im sure over time ill use it more and figure out what all the twitter hype ...

Twitter often goes down due to 'too many tweets.' Not enough space for messages and posts (it is limited by word number!). Is more American-friendly that UK. Not enough space on prfile info.
I don't see why it is so popular, it is too restricted, not personal enough and there is no filtering system to stop scams and spam.

I love Twitter but rarely use the website. I prefer to tweet from tweetdeck or seesmic, they make it all so much easier. There's a lot of people saying they don't see the point of Twitter. That's usually because they haven't really tried hard enough, they don't have enough imagination, or there really isn't much there for them because they don't actually like other people.By contrast, I've found it has opened a big channel of communication that has allowed me to make contact with some people who ...

Once you've worked out how to use twitter it becomes quite addictive. It's a bit like text messaging in that you only have a limited number of characters - 140 in total. To use twitter you have to be very concise in what you want to say, the more entertaining your twitter is the more likely it is that you will get followers. Being a bit of a celebrity voyeur the great thing about twitter is that you can follow celebs that twitter to! Stephen Fry is probably one of the longest serving amongst ...

Such a very simple idea but yet so effective!I have only been a member for a day, however since signing up I have learnt more and more in such a short space of time... I have come to the conclusion that twitter.com is an interesting new kind of social networking site that doesnt include all the annoying advertisements and palava that most sites do these days.Basically, you sign up (which takes a lot less time than ANY other site I have so far used). Create your own profile (again very simple) an ...

Twitter is an interesting concept which has recently taken off dramatically with many millions of users a month now accessing it and 'tweeting' to each other. The concept is extremely simple and its quite amazing how it has hit the media and the mainstream. In a nutshell; a beginners guide to Twitter : You write a message which is up to 140 characters long. If anyone has elected to 'follow you' then they will be sent that message to read.Thats it. Twitter is simple and you should get signed up an ...
