It is a really great movie, particularly the songs and dance numbers. The movie DOES actually have a plot, a very good one too. But overall EVERYTHING is good! It would take too long to list all the good things, so I won't do that. But I'll say that this movie is really great.
I would recommend this film to anyone, except for people who don't like fun movies. The only thing is, I wish I could see it again!

Highly entertaining. Good family film for all members. Little ones don't notice overly romantic elements. Great dancing. Good conflict resolutions with outcomes and morals you want your kids to hear. It had an element of fantacy to it as the song and dance numbers strayed from reality - but that was fun. My children liked the new characters who appeal to the next "HS" audience - ie the sequel. This movie is awesome for all ages! Once again, it is filled with drama that might even leave you in tears... but then they'll have you dancing in the aisles at the end! The relationship between Troy and Gabriella has become even more serious than it every has been. This movie is filled with laughter, tears, and non-stop dancing. After you see it the first time... you'll want to see it all over again! There is a couple more "kissing" sessions between Gabriella and Troy but that's not too... (read more)

High School Musical 3 is excellent. The plot of it is well-thought out and more complex than the others so it makes it a really good film for children and even parents of all ages. The songs were also great! I think maybe the style of the songs could have been different...very similar songs to the last couple of movies, but still great! I thoroughly enjoyed High School Musical 3. It was fantastic and definitely the best of the three films. (read more)

Like I said its a marmite but don't let that throw you off. Some typically musical songs, that are big cheesy and all together fantastic. Three new characters have been added to this years show which reflect on the other characters. There is a hidden message and I think it's 'Always be yourself, and you will go far'

Some of the dance numbers were very well choreographed and I had fun watching the teenager/ young adults bring the musicals back to the next generation. This new high tech era has lost a lot of that, so it was nice just seeing so many kids at the theater that really seemed excited by it. However, the storyline was non-existent. It could have been a lot better, and more realistic without having hurt the dance numbers or song structures, but it's like the writers really don't care to put in... (read more)

Song High School Musical will be the song everyone remembers, it's jolly and cheerful and boy does the world need to be more cheerful. It had no real storyline for a film with so much hype. It's done it's time. Found the whole HSM 3 experience rather dull....no real story, we know it is all coming to an end and feel the writers had long come to an end I am afraid. (read more)

A cheesy film but my daughters would thoroughly recommend it to every girl who likes HSM who's aged under about 12. They loved every minute and it was great to make it a special girly trip (no DAD!) by going to the cinema rather than just waiting to buy the dvd. Bet it's the only thing girls will talk about in the playground for weeks. (read more)

It was very well chreographed, and danced. There are some amazing voices! However, sometimes they acted a bit fake and weren't their real character! Overall it is a splendid film and i would recommend it too all fans, soon there should be a HSM4, which hopefully will be better. x (read more)

The music is so cool! I love 'I want it all' and 'Now or never' The whole film is so cool! And Zac Efron is so hot! Gabriella can be a bit high and pitchy in places. Overall the film was really good and I loved it! If you haven't watched it yet, then trust me what are you waiting for! (read more)

Great music and songs. Some really nice harmonies in the songs. Lots of energy from the principle characters. Loved the dancing/singing sequence in the junk yard - shades of "Thriller" but in a good way. The theme of this film is to follow your dreams. I think it's a good, positive message. I also really found it refreshing that the high school students were dancing in an "age appropriate" manner. Such a refreshing change from the dancing of too many kids today. (read more)

High School Musical 3 is just so amazing. Troy and Gabriella are really cool, I love Zac Efron he's so hot. I love the choerography, dancing and singing. I'm doing drama at college and HSM has really made me want to do it as a career. I've found out there going to be a High School Musical 4 and I'm really excited about that too. If you love the first two you'll love Senior Year, watch it as soon as you can, you won't regret it. (read more)

I love all the characters in the movie because they are so pretty, kool, funny, strong and they are so romantic like Gabrella & Troy, Chade & Talor.
