Ordered a 5 seater through their site. 5 seats were necessary and we were very carefull in our selection, bypassing the cheaper Corsa's and Fords and selecting a Fiat Bravo or equivalent at 20gbp more than a 4 seater equivalent for the same period!!
we get to Luton and am given a Corsa, I went berserk. Me and 4 other big guys will not into a Corsa go!! No joy at the desk, had to pay another 50GBP to upgrade to 5 seats.
Gave Opodo a stiff letter and by reply was told I had ordered a Fiat. Bravo!! We know we didnt. My paperwork sadly says I ordered an economy (no other details, i assumes a 5 seater economy) so the B******ds did me TWICE.
Now, they dont answer me. NEVER OPODO AGAIN WILL I FOR AIRFAIRS OR CARS.

Booked a Hertz car hire through Opodo. Paperwork from Opodo very basic so found my details on the Hertz site. My car hire through Opodo cost £209. Opodo paid Hertz £188.00. Therefore Opodo have made a profit on this one of £21.00. I will not use Opodo again and next time will go to the car rental company direct. I'm now in the process of trying to get back the £21.00.

It will be quickly apparent at significant cost to us if we accept what appears sometimes to be the best deal, and the whole affair is often complicated so as to make like for like comparisons difficult. Budget Swiss may well operate in the same way as others, but it can't make it right. Being pressured into paying large sums to get reasonable levels of insurance cover on top of rental fees is a distasteful aspect of this industry.
