Good Points: The car was very good, apart from the faulty fan. We understand that with any second hand car some things can go wrong, but if the garage give you a warranty, you should be covered.

General comments: We purchased a Mazda 323 from Motorpoint on May 28th 2009 and reported to the garage on the day it was delivered that the motor fan was not working. Motorpoint arranged for the car to have the electrics checked, and it was confirmed that the heater fan needed to be replaced. As no one from the garage had sourced a part, we decided to try ourselves because a steamed up car is dangerous to drive. We explained this to Motorpoint, and were told that if we thought the car was dangerous to drive, we shouldn't drive it! After much searching on the internet and ringing round, we managed to source the part ourselves and contacted Motorpoint to let them know. We were then told the owner of Motorpoint was on holiday and Motorpoint refused to order the part until he returned. The cost of the part was approx £250. My husband spoke with the person who apparently was left in charge of the garage in his boss's absence, and he was not prepared to do anything until his boss finished his holiday, even though the car had 3 months parts and warranty. My husband rang him to try and resolve the issue and the call was terminated. I called the garage back and my call was terminated!!!

Overall a cracking deal I would recommend it, my brother bought a Golf GTI from them back in April, we got a loyalty bonus of 30 for recommending, poor but better than nothing!
Quick and easy service! I bought a 5month old '07 plate Fiesta Zetec-s with 8000 miles from the Peterborough branch, went in for my 9am pick up and was shown the car while my part-ex was checked, signed off payed the balance and drove away within the hour!
Over the phone they quizzed me about the extras but didn't push to ...

Bought a new Honda Accord from Motorpoint Peterborough. After finding the car I wanted on the internet. I viewed the car a week before purchasing and agreed to have a few accessories added. Picked up the car on the time and day allotted and every thing went fine. The staff were helpful and the site is new and well laid out.
