I really like this phone. Its nice and shiny and looks great. Admittedly it is more style than substance. The original firmware for this handset is glitchy as hell and the handset can freeze from time to time. Sadly I recently had to return it for repairs as all the none touch buttons ceased functioning! It seems to be in fine working order now and they upgraded the firmware which has corrected much of the glitchyness (Although not all). Takes a while to acclimatise to touch screen particularly with texting. I notice many reviewers have trouble texting on this handset, I have had lots of comments from people who think I have found that I can fire off texts really very quickly. I think its a matter of practise... I also found that I have switched from using my thumb to using my index finger when operating this phone. The web browser is reasonably fast, although it struggles to load full html pages and they can be hellish to navigate. Ideal for quick Wiki/Facebook/Dictionary checks. Best to stick to sites with mobile versions. Overall stylish but lacking the functionality some users may want.

This is my second TOCCO, the first was faulty and was replaced by the seller. I absolutely loved my phone, had no problems with reception, thought it was the bees knees. Unfortunately, it developed some dark marks inside the screen. When I took it for repair under the guarantee, I was told the LCD was cracked and this was not covered by the warranty! The phone has not been dropped, is always kept in a sock to protect it from scratches and looks immaculate so I queried how this 'damage' could hav ...

I was seduced by the stylish good looks of this phone (Samsung Tocco Light) but if you want my advice, 'STAY WELL CLEAR'. Within the space of a week I have stopped texting friends as the text input system is so infuriating and difficult to use that it makes what used to be an intuitive porcess to a frustratingly annoying one. I have given my phone to my wife and will never purchase one again. Just glad I dindt buy the full version. TOTAL NIGHTMARE, LEAVE ALONE!

samsung tocco is a good phone but it could have a bit more gagets on it and it could be a bit faster when you select an itme on the menu
it has a sensative touch screen.
    it is a good size.
it is not loud enough for the music.
it does not have a long batterie life.
it does not have enough gadgets.
the phone is to thick and heavy.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER get this Samsung Tocco phone. You will hear only 30% of any conversation. My phone has been sent back for "repair" for the third time. 3 are rubbish when you tell them that the phone just doesn't work !!

The Samsung Tocco is the worst phone I've ever had!! 1) cuts off when making calls 2) need to be sitting outside or hanging out of a window in order to make a call. them it just cuts off anyway.3) Cant use the keypad to pay for a bill or something while on the phone because something on the touch screen will be pressed. 4) Cant text quickly or accuratly. 5) problems scrolling down the phonebook. 6) Touch screen buttons dont work half the time
    JUST A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!

Samsung Tocco is the worst phone ever...really regret it
Camera may be 5mps however it takes like a 2 minutes from pressing the button to taking the picture.
Texting is an absolute nightmare, takes about 10 mins to type 3 lines.

I just hate everything about this phone.

Samsung Tocco freezes all the time- pretty annoying when your trying to turn the alarm off- you have no chance, the letters seem to overlap when texting, camera quality is rubbish - blame the flash, screen scratches very easily.
Its an OK phone, but i kind of regret buying it as it has so many bad points.

This Samsung Tocco phone is small and light, it also looks good which is also a bonus. It is quite easy to navigate once you get used to it, and has many features which make it attractive.

5 megapixel camera, plenty of memory, space for memory card, camera effects, touch screen, layout of phone.

I totaly regret buying this Samsung Tocco phone. I almost never have signal and when i get or make calls, it just cuts out for no apparent reason. the key board is shocking and will put letters in to texts that i haven't touched. I have had the phone from Sept and an upgrade cant come quick enough. I ahev always had samsung phones, but highly dissapointed with this model.

The Samsung Tocco keys are too sensitive and seem to overlap when typing, I do not like the fact you have to keep choosing the language you wish to use, it should be able to be set once along with the type of text like predictive. You have to keep going back in all the time to choose which you use.

Replaced my Sony Ericsson K800i with this phone. I regret it. The Carphone Warehouse guy who sold it to me (instead of the Soul) told me that it was a unique phone that not many people would buy (a major selling point for me - nokia 6260 anyone?), but within the month everybody and their dog had one.

That aside, the phone isn't bad at what it does, but it does have some serious faults. The early firmware is totally broken. At that stage the phone was really a beta for the Omnia, and once that ...
