Summary
HTC improves on recent releases by including 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity in the Cruise. The slender form, GPS and Windows Mobile 6 make the HTC Cruise a very appealing PDA phone.

Pros
Attractive looking handset, HSDPA and Wi-Fi, Excellent TouchFlo interface, Bundled navigation software and accessories

Cons
Average processing, Below average battery life, Full touchscreen input won't appeal to everyone

Verdict
The Cruise is our favourite of the current HTC line-up and compares well to most of the competition. HTC does a good job of making the touchscreen experience easy to use, however, it won't be for everyone.

HTC Touch Cruise

Summary
The HTC Touch's claim to fame is its heavily modified WM (Windows Mobile) interface which makes it more convenient to get basic tasks done. The original Touch has been a hit so far, thanks to its great design and low price, and we won't be surprised ...

HTC Touch Cruise review: Happy cruising
4 Feb 2008

Summary
Pocket PCs have been keeping us busy these days. Just as we gave you LG KS20, it's time for our one-on-one with the HTC Touch Cruise. And hey, are those workhorses getting sexier or what. As one of our readers sharply observed, those devices just...

Pros
Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE ; 3G with HSDPA ; 400MHz Qualcomm processor ; 128MB of RAM ; 2.8" 65K color touchscreen TFT display with QVGA resolution ; Integrated Qualcomm GPS receiver ; TomTom satnav software pre-bundled, one free map included ; Wi-Fi 802 ...

Cons
No hardware keypad ; Inadequate video playback capabilities ; Paint starts to peel off very quickly ; Display image quality is a bit disappointing and is practically illegible under direct sunlight ; Photo processing issues

Verdict
HTC Touch Cruise is surely one of the most interesting Windows Mobile Pro devices to hit the shelves recently. It features the new version of HTC's TouchFLO interface and one of the heaviest feature sets in the PocketPC class. It is very close in ...

Summary
The Touch Cruise is not a bad take on a feature-crammed smartphone, but there is stiff competition out there.…

Pros
HTCÂ ; s characteristic TouchFLO look is here, and there is a strong range of features

Cons
We didn't find the flat screen as responsive to touch as we would like

Verdict
The Touch Cruise is not a bad take on a feature-crammed smartphone, but there is stiff competition out there.

Preview of UMTS-communicator HTC Touch Cruise
15 Nov 2007

Summary
The side panels as well as the rear are made of soft-touch plastic, thanks to this the Cruise delivers a nice tactile feel. Its spines also feature chrome-like plastic insets, which is similar to the P3300, the first device where HTC implemented them.

12 Feb 2008

Summary
Here is the new device of HTC. Not just the handling but the services also get a mark five!

Verdict
The phone provided by the XXL PC arrived in a high-quality box as it's expected. We can describe the accessories with the word 'usual', charger, data cable, stereo headset, case, manual, CD, that's what we get for our money.

Review: HTC Touch Cruise
4 Jun 2008

Summary
Even though HTC's new TouchFLO 3D devices are starting to ship, its still worth looking at devices like Touch Cruise, with its AF camera, HSDPA data, and built-in GPS. Our UK man, Russell, puts the phone through its paces for us in this in-depth review.

HTC Touch Cruise
23 Jun 2008

Summary
The HTC Touch Cruise is a powerful phone, but does it deliver on all counts? Read on to find out.

Pros
HTC Today Screen, One-handed/Single Finger Usage, Wi-Fi, GPS, Good screen (2.8-inch), 3MP Camera with autofocus

Cons
Poor GPS (MapKing), Problems with camera module, Sluggish interface at times (TouchFLO), Expensive

Verdict
The HTC Touch Cruise sells for around Rs. 28,500 with a one-year warranty. The phone, to out it simply, doesn't seem really worth it in India given that GPS is still in the infant stage here. If you want a better GPS phone I suggest the Nokia 6110 ...

HTC Polaris Joins Scientology, Becomes HTC Touc...
19 Oct 2007

Summary
The HTC Touch Cruise has wireless radios bursting at the seams. It starts with quad-band GSM to keep you connected all around the world. It ramps up the speed with tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100) with HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity...

Verdict
I guess HTC is really wanting to push their Touch branding. It started with the garden variety HTC Touch. Then they plunked in a vertical slider to produce the HTC Touch Dual. Now, the Taiwanese devicemaker has apparently joined the ranks of ...

Apple iPhone
12 Jul 2009

Apple is still very territorial. My husband bought iphone for me. Every time now when I need assistance, they ask me a million questions before they will answer my questions. They demand to know my husband's SSI in order to talk to me. I don't have it memorized, so I want them to add me in as another authorized user. But they want more money for that.

Then I damaged my iphone. They wanted $200 for the repair, even with extra warranty my husband paid. Of course the damage was...

Love at first sight! This 'phone is superb in every was. Great touch screen, apps galore, standard connectivity (unlike iphone) and ability to upgrade storage (unlike iphone). Only thing that lets the 'phone down is Bluetooth which seems to be hit and miss. Would recommend the Hero to anyone looking for a high end smartphone.

Nokia N97
19 Apr 2009

N series first with 3.5-inch touchscreen that are complete multimedia phone

one thing that is very feasible to make N97 be used as entertainment center is a touch screen 3.5-inch wide screen 16:9 format. Create a type-like type, there is a sliding QWERTY keyboard (similar to Windows Mobile-based phone). Of course, the virtual touch input can still be used. For button, use only the three lines of the space, but there is no button number retired. This can not be making or problem at all....

Acer N35
14 Jul 2005

The Acer N35 is small and nicely formed. I bought the GPS kit as it comes with car cradle, GPS software and reciever built in, UK maps pre installed.
The GPS was the predominant reason for the purchase. I have used a Navman and it was rubbish. It took me ways that were certainly not the quickest. The Acer N35 is much much better than the NAVMAN. The routes it calculates have even surprised me on occasion always being optimum (nearly). Battery life (rechargable with my in car cradle) is...
