We got this Kenwood SB256 a while back now and it is a great liquidiser and smoothie maker. It's 1,5 litre capacity is big enough to do a good size smoothie and it's powerful enough for ice and big bits of fruits. We also used to use to make curry pastes and it is excellent for that. The only reason we stopped was due to us getting a mortal and pestle and that's just unbeatable, even by the SB256.
