I tried GMX Mail for 24 hours, but had all kinds of trouble with the graphics. I had read a review before signing up that it didn't work well with Opera browser. A subsequent review said that had been fixed, but the reviewer was wrong. Some of the text overprinted other text, parts of the page were cut off etc. It also was not friendly to my password program when I tried to copy and paste. It forced me to enter all 20 characters at one point. I even had a heck of a time deleting the account in F ...

I was introduced to GMX by relatives in Germany who like it. It was great for a long time, now it is totally screwing up my research work and my life, unfortunately after people and companies all around the world has it as my (my family in Canada and I have several GMX addresses) eMail address. I cannot forward mail, I cannot reply to mail. How can I get this fixed? Because I will have to abandon GMX and find a reliable eMail service

GMX Mail seemed like a good idea with its attractive appearance and free service but I've had strange problems. Some e-mails I send take a long time to arrive at their destination and I found a bunch in the draft folder and they did not appear in the sent folder. A message would flash that they couldn't be sent so they'd get dumped into the draft folder. Also, when deleting e-mails, sometimes it freezes on loading the e-mail. You can't just delete it. It's okay for mail that you're not worr ...

I liked gmx.com at the beginning but in 2009 I need also to access it on mobile (not only via pop or imap how they say, this I can do with every pop account on a mobile) and it seems they are not interested at all in this subject until now. The web interface is very-very heavy, with too many errors and cannot even work properly with all browsers. If somebody has a dial up Internet connection: Good Bye! Of course cannot work with a web mobile browser and strange too that I find there a lot of spam d ...

I love using GMX for all the extra tools that come with the account. The Mail Collector is great for having an overview and seeing all my other email accounts in just one window. File Storage option is perfect for sharing large files (videos, pics) with friends. I wouldn't dish my other addresses though, as it's still in Beta...

I finally found it with GMX Mail! I've been searching for a long time for a freemail which allows me to use some alias' to continue using my other email adresses. Moreover, the huge storage has been a crucial argument for my registration. Thanks GMX!

Good and friendly support on my GMX Mail English account.Good design - everything is easy to find. I like the colours : )
I forgot my account informations and had a quick response - really nice. maybe they should also include chatrooms, but this is not necessary

I've had trouble contacting them. Have been trying for 2 days to access my account.. Computer settings fine as Ican access my other account. Have emailed GMX at different address and not received one reply yet.If you rely on your emails daily I can not recommend this site due to technical support.

Just set up my account with GMX Mail and loved the layout straight away. All you need, no stupid networking or profile tools you do not want to use.Hope they will increase the login speed but no problems so far to log on in general.

Easy to use and of course it is free!

Sometimes connection is lost, but have people got no patience anymore?!

Easy to use and fast enough for me as I have patience, and I would recommend gmx.com as it is free and uncomplicated.

At first I thought the GMX email collection system - allowing me to look into the other boxes was a great idea, but it appeared that emails being sent to me at other addresses (where the files were) were being diverted to the gmx account. I then encountered difficulties trying to log in and change databases because I had logged in on my old email account and even though I was sending an email from that account it appeared it was being changed to read from a gmx account.
My life's to difficult wi ...

GMX Mail, Use of extra email addresses with all email coming to primary main address. It would be great were it not for the frequent problems accessing email.

Must frequently delete GMX cookies and restart computer to get access to email beause of faulty software

I like the GMX Mail interface & easily integrates with outlook but this is not enough for a good web mail. Very Slow to logon, many times freezes and crashes out down loading emails can take up a long time - dial up speeds on broadband. It is suppose to be a web mail & cannot always access through other machines especially if you are travelling. Plenty of room for improvement. Technical help not very good

Update it constantly, make sure to tell you. User interface seems great honestly, maybe I'm rating too high, but I've been using it for months already, and it never let me down, no errors, gives you a lot of choices for usernames, in gmx.com, gmx.us and they are making an effort at making it better. Spam protection is great unlike gmail and hotmail. The popup isn't fully compatible with some programs, but I think they fixed it. Great interface, gets better by the day, like it very much, it's my ...

Easily integrates with thunderbird (or your email client of choice). I've never experienced any downtime. Plenty of storage.
If you are looking for a decent server to use with your 3rd party client I would highly recommend. If you are looking for a great web interface, perhaps gmail would suit you better?

I am sick and tired of trying to work with this system. Why I ever left earthlink, I'll never know. I am very unhappy with the GMX.com Mail service, I do not recommend this email site. I actually wanted to destroy my computer at one point due to the speeds of mail.

    Clean, all necessary options..
Nice design, options to customize, plenty of space, nice feature to create more than one email account, but it is just very slow.... therefore I do not recommend gmx.com
