    Good Points: Drove a 1998 Ford Fiesta with automatic transmission for over 10 years without an iota of problems. The good point with my 2007 Fiesta DUROSHIFT, the radio sounds good!


    Bad Points: Ford's Customer Relationship is indifferent to my claim for satisfaction. I have written to Ford in Rome, Italy, Ford in England and Ford in US America bringing to their attention problems I am experiencing with the DUROSHIFT, to date no response; all are indifferent to my pleas for help.


    General comments: The DUROSHIFT on my 2007 Ford Fiesta is malfunctioning and I consider it a true safety hazzard. On several occasions and while negotiating reverse mode on a 5% upgrade for approx. for 10 meters, the transmission gives a bumping noise and no movement. On one occasion while entering into traffic in foward mode, the bumping noise started and the car had no movement -stuck in oncoming traffic. I have written to Ford over 8 months ago about this problem but no response has been received: obvious indifference.

    My local dealer have been been a disgrace over the poor performance of this car. Ford's view seems to be that they couldn't care less how poor the fuel consumption is, they don't make any actual promises just boast outrageous potential figures.
    I have challenged the dealer to get more than my 53 mpg out of it, they have so far declined the challenge!
    Pathetic, they should both be ashamed of themselves.
