"the vacuum thats sucks??" NO! it is the vacuum that blows...works great on carpet but NOT on hard surfaces......I chase the hair and fuzz around and I can see it fly into the air trying to get it in the vacuum! What manufacturer puts the exhaust in the front.......NOT WORTH THE HYPE AND MONEY.....I have done better with a Dirt Devil.....just throw IT out in two years and get a new one. A person would still be farther ahead...I paid $650.00 for a DC25

My new DC 25 back stand arrangement broke within 2 days. The wand is clumsy and not a patch on the other Dysons I have had. It is very 'plasticy' and frankly for the £300+ that it cost it isn't worth half of it. The cannister is small, the power cord shorter than other Dysons and as you can gather I am very unimpressed.

The one saving grave is that it is lighter than other Dyson models but even that won't make me keep it.

I would not recommend this cleaner, because it not what I have come to expect from Dyson cleaners, the power cable is considerably shorter than on previous models, and the brushbar defaults to 'On' every time the cleaner is turned off, and this can easily damage hard floors (as it damaged my own). It has very powerful suction, which is great for carpets, but I believe that the cleaner should have been fitted with a lower power setting for items such as doormats and small rugs.

ok on the hard floors, vibration level is much higher on the carpets when you turn on the brush, can have harmful effects in long run.
I used DC14 before and going to but the same, as on DC 25 cord is shorter, no small brushes on the side of the hoover to scrape the dust as in DC14

the dyson ball is to heavy to use.my back and wrist ache during and after use. it needs to be emptied after a couple of rooms. I dont find it flexible ,the wand is hard to take out/put back. Very disappointed.Dislike it so much am saving up for a new different cleaner, which will probabaly be an older version of a dyson.

After checking out the commercials about this Dyson and spending hundreds of dollars on vacuums that didn't do anything and we're often high maintenance, I decided to take the plunge and purchase the Dyson DC25 All Floors.

Assembly wasn't a problem at all, the pictures were easy to follow, and the pieces click into place perfectly. The vacuum itself didn't feel too heavy to me, not to difficult to bring up and down our two level home. I then began to vacuum the medium pile flooring I had, and i ...

Can't believe the advertisement swayed me to spend $500 on the Dyson DC25 'all floors' vacuum. Previous Hoovers, with or without self propelled were much easier to handle and did just as well on carpet and bare floors and would lay flatter to reach under chairs, tables, etc. Very disappointed in my self for purchasing.

This Dyson DC25 All Floors is a fab dyson and takes a little while to get used to it but once your used to it you`ll be flying around the rooms with it! Its rather annoying that the lead is so short I have to use an extension lead when I use it as I have an open plan room but still feel its too short if you have large rooms. If you didn`t have very good upper body strength you would find it difficult to carry up and down the stairs and if that's the case you`d be better off buying the lighter ve ...

I read all of the rave reviews and bought one. I was amazed at the great design in the machine. It picks up outrageously well, is quieter than I thought and empties like a breeze. It's easier to move around than a canister and because the weight is low (motor in the ball), it handles well. Even the hose and attachments work really well and are easy to deploy. The only drawback I can think of is it doesn't have an automatic cord winder. With a five year warranty and no bags to buy, this thing ...

Had Dyson DC03 since 1998. That was a very good machine but although the ads say a Dyson doesn't loose it's suck it definitely performed less well over the last few years. Being near retirement a lighter Vac was the order of the day. After trying an Orick (ugh enough said) we were delight to find this new DC25 available.
Once at home and unpacked it was assembled within minutes. The initial use: Finding out how to lower the handle which raises the support wheels was probably the hardest part. ...

This Dyson DC25 All Floors vacuum is the mercedes of vacuum cleaners. We had just vacuumed a few days prior to receiving the DC25 via UPS. Upon receiving it we of course tested it out (because we heard all the hype and had to see it for ourselves). We have a cat and often when our cat gets sick or we have a spill on the carpet we have to get out our shampooer. The shampooer always creates disgusting wet hairballs indicating that no matter how much we vacuum with our regular vacuum, we never get ...
