I love my Ford Transit Sport Van 2. I have chipped and delimited it and to address the tyre issue I have filled them with Nitrogen so the walls dont flex as much and at 6000 miles the tyres look perfect, I sometimes find the van starts and cuts out but I am updating the ECU this week so hopefully that will be sorted with the update.I have put an HID kit which is perfect.

So far Ford Transit Sport Van hasnt let me down apart from the tyre wear ,no spare wheel didnt even have the goo until i rang ford and asked for it good job i work in a tyre garage and bought a wheel & tyre at a reasonable price, battery going flat if you leave the doors open too long with the interior lights on when clean the inside, no ashtray or cig lighter, inter cooler pipe blowing of going up the dual carriageway 3 times and the engine malfuction light coming on when its cold and im told b ...

ford transit 2.2 is a fantastic van, looks great, but let down by ford after sales and customer service. big time problem with tyre. solution, fit 245 60 18 not saying it will give you 30 thousand miles but you will defently get 10 to 12 tho if driven well.

Ford Transit Sport Van 2.2 TDCi is a great looking van, always a head turner.
very smooth ride just like driving car and even faster.
had mine cipped 190bhp its very fast.
spent over £1500 on chrome bits but looks the biz

well its tyres again, but i complained to ford and did not back down, they gave me a full free services so they are taking some blame for the tyres, there are plenty of good tyres out there that fit and look well and they come in at £200 a pair. yes my turbo pipe ...

Ford Transit Sport Van 2.2 looks the part & goes good when it goes.
However: here we go, tyres, tyres ,tyres ,quarter glass fell out , egr valve, engine management light constantly, tyres, drivers elec window, hair on paint on back door, turbo intercooler hose 6 times, more tyres ,& last but not least, bearings in gearbox failing not bad considering its only done 27k.typical of ford to dismiss these problems , maybe if i had not just one van but a large fleet , they may have helped out more. out ...

I love this Ford Transit Sport Van 2.2 TDCi. great to drive and the performance is better than expected. looks excellent - even with the stripes. re-living my youth. not what customers expect when you arrive to repair thier roof.
Tyres! what more can be said. new fronts and only done 7000miles. also wish the alloys did not stick out futher than the tyres. scuffed a kerb last week and started to cry! passenger front now damaged. have blamed the wife!
tyres would not put me off another. still love ...

Well what can I say, with all the trouble I've had trying to sort out the tyre issue on my new Ford Transit Sportvan to say I'm disappointed with buying this van is an understatement. Love the look of it but unless you can afford to purchase tyres at not £200 (as mentioned on a previous review) but £300 then don't buy one!
    They eat tyre's.
Ready for the third set at 16,000 miles now. Ford need to get to the bottom of this problem, big-time.
Averages at £50 a month for tyres ...

Well what can I say? I love it, there are not many cars that perform, handle or drive as well. OK the panel work is not perfect but if I had wanted a rolls and not a work van id have bought one.

Where do I start? Panel finish and paint quality on my Ford Transit is awful, every panel is distorted by welds and dents, engine malfunction light is on frequently, tyres on the front have lasted just over 4600 miles (they cost £200ish) it cuts out when you are driving, not great too have no brakes or steering, you do not get a jack or brace or even a spare wheel, you do get a small compressor and some "goo" when you use it the tyre is then scrap you then have to spend £33 on anot ...
