    Good Points: Easy To Purchase.
    Reasonable Price


    Bad Points: Fail To Pay out on Holiday Losses even with Police Proof of Burglary & theft.
    Fail to reply to emails.


    General comments: Easy to purchase Holiday Insurance from travel plan direct.

    We should have asked what percentage of claims are paid.

    Staff are very polite, even when they are refusing to pay without reason.

    TravelPlan Direct travel insurance were brilliant with fast and sympathetic treatment of our claim when our son was seriously injured in the US in 2005. While other companies may have tried to wriggled out of their responsibility, Travel Plan Direct were helpful and supportive, and paid up in full, easing what was a terrible experience for us all. We have used them ever since.
